I didn't know about this place until I was a guest of honour at a wedding shower dinner. It's aeautiful historic home with hotel... behind. We sat on the patio but the whole restaurant atmosphere is wonderful. Fantasic service; attentive , professional andpersonality. The portion sizes are a great value and while the menu is not huge (which is preferred) there is something foreveryone. It is the perfect spot for a special occasion. Read more
The entire atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. I have heard good reviews but wow. The staff are so professional and... respectful, they definitely went the extra mile. The food just topped everything off. Great servings and the quality was tastedin every bite! Prices are very reasonable as everything seems to be house made. Beautiful stay! Room was small but had everything we needed and was beautifully furnished! And the restaurant downstairs is... worth the stay alone! We enjoyed every minute and the staff made every interaction great! Right down the road from the river awell! Read more
Will definitely be staying here again, my partner and I had such an amazing time for our anniversary. The food was delicious,... the staff was amazing, the drinks were phenomenal and the rooms were stunning. Cleanliness is a big thing for us and the roomwas immaculate. They were super sweet at dinner bringing us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. My partner and I agreedthat this will be one of our new little getaways. Read more
Attended a wedding here. Lovely experience! Staff was so friendly and personable. My husband was extremely late and missed... everything! The staff was kind enough to put his plates aside and kept everything warm & cold for him. Simple but lovely decorin the hall. Highly recommend this place. Food for the wedding was fantastic!!! Had the pleasure of attending a wedding of a close personal friend and coworker. This venue is located in a small town called... New Hamburg. The location is ideal, a stones throw from major cities. Less then a 30 minute drive from Kitchener Waterloo forhotel accommodations and connections to highways. After the beautiful ceremony in a large room we had cocktails at a outdoor barlocated at the side; greeted by a large mural. Succulent appetizers followed and we where treated to a gourmet 5 star dinnerinside. The ceremony area was opened up to create large dance floor and seating for the celebration. Service from the bartenderswas top notch friendly, as we joked around the whole night with them. Even the owner of the Puddicombe house was lending a handserving drinks when it was busy. Overall I am waiting to be invited again to this locale for another magical evening. Read more
Went there for a wedding and we were really impressed! The food was amazing, the venue was elegant and spacious, and the service... was lovely. It's also a bed and breakfast, and I can imagine a wonderful one! Beautiful experience - we'd definitely go backjust for the restaurant. Read more
Had a great time for dinner! There were 8 of us in a garden gazebo! The menu is fairly extensive with a great price point... considering they are casual fine dining! Great food -- I enjoyed the Braised Beef Short Ribs!! Read more
