Subway in new Hampton Iowa. Jonah?s?s Was the workers name who served me today . He was very well knowledgeable in subway... itself as well as the company and the franchises around. I have been asking him questions due to the dissatisfaction of multiplesubways around Iowa. He answered all my questions and made a great sub. The bread was fresh and I had a steak Baja melt it wasdelicious. I have been very unsatisfied as I am stated before ways of subways specially the one in WAVERLY and Centerpoint. I alaways love eating subway but this store has 2 kinds of employees just like anywhere else. But when i ask for something to be... put on my foot long sandwiches i would like more than 3 pieces of tomato or 5 jalapeños. Thats not really what bugged me, wheni asked nicely to have more jalapeños added and more tomatoes the lasy told me: "NO! We have to make our veggies last untilanother truck shows up!" How the hell is that my problem? Maybe either order enough or shut the store down until you get morebut dont be a Snot about it and give me attitude. The counters were cleaned twice as I was there for 30 minutes, staff was very efficient in self cleaning and was very... communicative. One of the best subways I have been to except they stock soup seasonally. Very quick in their service. Read more
Nobody ahead of me in line. Took over 15 minutes to get my sub because one person was working on online orders and 3 were... watching. I have never been to a subway where they work on online orders when you're standing there in person, and the othersjust stare at you while standing around. Or with such slow and lazy service, and the machine asks for a tip. What a joke. Wouldnot recommend. Won't be back. Read more
There were a few positives many negatives. Positives, very clean dining area and very clean prep area also employees were... nice. Negatives: these are just some Extremely slow on making the sub pre-toasting/topping Employee wasn't following propermask usage(if you wear a mask it goes over the nose and mouth not just one or the other ????) If I remember correctly vegetableserving for a foot long sub isn't 3 pieces of onion or bell peppers. Had to ask multiple times to get the vegetables up to whatwas the standard serving. Immediately following the wrapping of my sub, cashier seems to have been extra slow getting it in thebag and over to me And finally(I don't know if this is due to anything in the food or if it was something mask under noseemployee had that passed on to me) I felt sick roughly an hour after my visit and immediately was throwing up and having stomachissues only pepto seems to treat.
