Amazing food. The baked bean were unique, and the pulled pork was insanely tender. The sauces were so good that I wound up... taking a spoon to then and driving the leftovers like soup. Awesome bbq, good portions/prices and outstanding service!! Highly recommended!! Our first time there and will be going back... tomorrow because it's that good!! I had the brisket with corn bread and baked beans. Three mouth watering tender juicy slices ofbrisket with my choice of sauce. Baked beans were a wonderful surprise with bits of crispy bacon inside. The corn bread wasperfect with a nice flavor and didn't fall apart. We even grabbed an order of 6 pieces to go. The bbq chicken with cole slaw andpotato salad was great!! My daughter had mac and cheese with pulled pork. All meats were tender, juicy and seasoned with sauceto our liking. The owner let us all try some items before ordering( bbq chicken, pulled pork, corn bread) He was extremelyhelpful, friendly and passionate about bbq/cooking! Read more
Great spot off main hwy. Had the pulled pork, ribs, brisket, potato salad, Mac and cheese, and corn bread. Everything was... excellent. Pulled pork definitely best I've had in a while and corn bread had a citrus twist. Owner sells his own rubs/spiceswhich are awesome. Worth a stop when in the area. Read more
What a delightful surprise. I was very skeptical when we drove up, but once the food was served, I was quickly reminded not to... judge a book by its cover. The man behind the shack may be serving some of the best brisket on the East Coast. The brisket meltsat the tip of your mouth with the perfect combination of fat and meat; the sauce perfectly complements the brisket. The chickenis smoked to perfection; the Mac&cheese was great wish he served a larger portion. Worth the stop back to Massachusetts everytime can?t wait to visit again. Read more
Fantastic barbecue! Had the brisket with whiskey molasses sauce and the ribs with honey mustard Carolina sauce. Also got the... honey lemon corn bread was awesome, and the coleslaw was the best I have ever had. The mac and cheese was super cheesy anddelicious. Price was very reasonable for the portions (very large) and quality was outstanding. Next time we are in the area wewill be stopping by again! Read more
Food was so fresh and so good. Makes food right in front of you. Tailors the spiciness to your liking. Ribs fall of the bones,... brisket is so tender you will not need a knife, and the mac & cheese was so creamy. Cant say enough about the food we got. Delicious barbecue, and friendly service! The owner gave us a taste of what we ordered, and showed us what we'd be getting in... advance. We got brisket and pulled pork, both of which were fabulous. Meat here is not as smoky as some barbecue places, and welove that smoky flavor, but it's so amazingly tender, juicy, and delicious that we didn't care. Portions are quite generous forthe price. Like many barbecue places, the meat is the reason to come, and the sides are mediocre. This is essentially a trailerwith some outdoor tables and parking, so don't expect too much from the atmosphere. For a little roadside trailer, though, wewere very pleasantly surprised! Read more
