This place was so disappointing and overpriced. We wanted to make a reservation online however they were trying to charge a $40... deposit which I’ve never heard of a restaurant doing. We were sat outside where there was a water spill on half of the table.Somebody came shortly after to try to clean it up. They have QR codes on the tables where you place your orders but for somereason it didn’t combine mine with everyone else’s. I placed my order and the rest of the table placed theirs a minutelater. I got my food very quickly (less than 10 min after placing the order). However they brought out wooden cutlery for ourtable which was laughable because those are the kinds of utensils toddlers should use. I looked around and saw that all theother tables around us had metal cutlery so I figured I’d wait until the waitress came back to ask for the right utensils. Therest of my party didn’t receive their food until another 15 min later. My food was cold by the time I got the right utensils.My sister was served very raw poached eggs and when she complained and asked for overeasy eggs, they brought her scrambled eggs.She complained again and they finally brought her the right eggs. The food was okay. Def overpriced because I could’ve gottenbetter quality food and service at a diner for half the price. When we got the final bill they charged us 18% gratuity for only4 of us. So basically $13 just for them to bring us food. They didn’t check up on us or even take our order. The whole thingwas a terrible experience and I will never eat here again. Read more
Perfect day trip from the city, try the cider tasting and take your favorites home from their tasting room. Food is delicious,... we had the chicken and biscuits, ricotta and yogurt bowl, and the bacon wrapped dates. Read more

Our first time there and it was such an enjoyable cozy way to spend a rainy Sunday. We had the gold label cider and the rose... which were both the right mix of sweet and dry. The charcuterie board is freakin' amazing! The staff were all so pleasant andwelcoming. Check it out!! Read more
I must say this place surpassed my expectations, it's a wonderfully well put together orchard/restaurant/farmers market and I... was 100% satisfied with my experience there. I highly recommend this Cidery. The cider is wonderful, the cocktails are delicious, the space is beautiful, and everyone inside... is very welcoming and knowledge. We did the cider tasting- so tasty, it is a true testament to the taste of the NY apple. Nottoo sweet, very refreshing, and lots of flavor. They have some champagne style ciders which i also loved, great option for thosewho like a little more funk and flavor. I also tried the gin and tonic cocktail (pictured) which utilizes HOUSE MADE tonic inaddition to cider and is probably the best g&t I’ve ever had. They allowed our dog indoors- though i don’t know if this isstandard or if it was a kind gesture due to the fact that we were the only customers at opening time (12 pm) on a Friday. A wonderful day spent at Soons Orchards and lunch at Orchard Hill Cider Mill. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the sunny day... while we waited for our food. Everything was fresh and delicious. Where to start on Orchard Hill Cider Mill…(long review ahead) I have been coming to the Orchard Hill Cider Mill for... YEARS…literally before running water and bathroom plumbing when it was a canopy, a porta potty, and a grill outdoors. Then,they had music and twinkle lights. When they built the inside, they continued with live music until the pandemic. To adapt, theybuilt an outdoor patio and created wireless ordering. (Technology doesn’t always work folks, these guys try their best.You’re also allowed to order manually.) They started happy hours and cidermosas to keep folks having fun. They bring anupscale vibe to a nature experience in a beautiful marriage. I have loved every iteration of this place. They have the BESTfood than they’ve ever had in all their versions and a new rosé to try on their flight. And OH MY GOODNESS, THE CIDER SAUSAGEGRAVY FOR THE MEAT EATERS….trust me, I’d eat that alone with a spoon. DELICIOUS!!! The Pommeau 1066 is a sweet apple lacedbrandy that can be sipped alone or in their hot toddy. Don’t leave without buying some of their champagne style cider andchecking out local wines. They even welcome well- behaved pets. If you see owner Donnan with a serious face and furrowed brow,it’s because he’s either trying to create the best experience for his current guests, thinking of new ideas for future fun,or trying to keep the place running as smoothly as possible.
