This is a repost of my review because they keep removing it. We chose New Harmony Inn and Conference Center for our wedding... 08/20/22. Melissa, Director of Sales/Wedding Coordinator, is one of the worst people I have ever met in my life. As soon as wesigned our contract the communication became terrible. I would text, call, and email over several days and even weeks and mostof time never even got a response. Even though we did a taste test, our food was incorrect. When we asked for a 10% refund shesaid that they decided a $100 refund, which is 2.7%, was fair since the food was edible. It took nearly two weeks to get thisrefunded because they kept charging my account more. The food was extremely extremely disappointing. We consistently had to callmultiple different people to gain access to areas of the venue that was supposed to be open for us. The house we got ready andstayed in was dirty, covered with feathers and dirt. My friend is supposed to get married here in a year and a half and now sheis looking at other venues. Even with these issues I had to fight to get any response, I emailed and called and after I asked tospeak with the General Manager I finally received an email back. Absolute worst service I have ever received. Edit: Sobasically your response is I was a horrible customer? The only staff I even had any real interaction with was Melissa, Amy, andthe cook. In fact the only other interaction I had with staff is checking in and out and then the thank yous I got as thewedding was ending and I gave the kitchen and cleaning staff cupcakes. So I?m sure the unpleasant interaction with Melissa, Amy,and the cook was when I complained during dinner that the food was not what was taste tested and picked out. We desperately needed to stop and nap between Louisville, KY and Kansas City, the town of Santa Clause didn't want to... accommodate us, but the staff in New Harmony were great. We arrived shortly after 3, checked right in and slept hard! The roomswere clean, town was adorable and we may go back to explore. Read more

My husband and I plus 2 other couples stayed the weekend there. It is such a beautiful place. Staff is exceptional. Quiet and... peaceful area. You could rent good carts to enjoy the grounds. I enjoyed it and will be back. I recommend this place toeveryone. Read more

The place looked very interesting online. The grounds keeping could use a little work. My room was really nice I thought, ... everything was clean and neat with an ''old cottage" type of feel. 4 post bed refrigerator and microwave in the room, all lookedgreat. Read more

I stayed 3 nights in early July. Spacious, clean, comfortable room. Both the Indiana historic district and the village of... New Harmony are beautiful and a joy to walk. The Inn is sort of Shaker style and relatively new. Read more
