If I could give zero stars, I would. Food was wrong on a take-out order. Had to wait for almost an hour to pick up with a nearly... empty restaurant. How you can screw up boneless honey bbq wings is beyond me, but they did. Do yourself a favor, stay awayfrom this restaurant. Read more

I went out to lunch with my grandson yesterday at the Applebees and New Hartford. After consuming half of my meal I found a long... hair about 4 to 5 inches long. I told my waiter, he went to get the manager. After the manager came to our table He said becausemost of the meal was eaten he would discount me five dollars! I thought wow, just because I didn?t find a hair in the beginningof the meal it was my fault that I ate half of my meal. I was thoroughly disgusted. I have patronize this business for 20 someyears, that was unacceptable. When I got into my car I called the district manager, Rick. he was very kind and apologetic forthat manager. Sat at the bar, the meal was solid, beer was cold and crisp, the only off putting thing was the hostess discussing the reason... for being there was to serve out her "Community service" for a road rage incident. She was polite don't get me wrong, but Icould have gone without hearing the only reason she was there was because she was mandated to. The Bartender was very polite andon top of things. Would return. You have one job..one job only..make sure the Togo order gets into the bag correctly..simple follow directions as we were all... taught as children. Where's the salads?? Missing..says it's right there.. and that is not Chicken and shrimp..poor excuse for asteak right there..why would you even serve that?? I'm appalled! Read more
My mom and I love Applebee's but won't be going back anytime soon. Ordered two salads at 1pm and they weren't done at 5:30pm.... Went into the restaurant and was totally ignored. Had to stop someone and ask for help and she was annoyed I asked. Finally gotour order after I got a little rude. Waitresses kind of got in my face a bit telling me they were "short staffed". I totallyunderstand staffing issues but at least acknowledge me....then, after giving her my card for payment she just put her hand backto give me my card with her back to me, not even a thank you.
