Edit: so I was not indecisive at all. I asked for a single espresso for here. You gave me a long espresso in a to go cup. Not... only that but you made it in a double wand instead of a single. You had for here cups because I after made the comment youoffered to out it for here. So that's a blatant lie. And yes you did moke me after I left. Like I said, google what an espressois because what you served was not that. Just went from there now ask for a espresso for here and give me a large espresso longin a to go cup. I shrugged it off. But then I left and my friend stayed and they started to insult my intelligence on espressomaybe they should Google what an espresso looks like instead of having people a hot cup of boiling black water. This place was great. They used real fruit for their juices and smoothies which was impressive in comparison to many other... coffee shops. I also had a breakfast sandwich that was fresh and tasty. Nothing seemed pre made or microwave heated. Alsoimpressive. The decor was hip and eco chic cool. I liked the giant bouncy ball chairs. Fun. Despite getting several thingswrong and mixed up, due to the loud coffee shop noises combined with the plexiglass germ barrier thing ( it's well past time totake that bad boy down, or give customers microphones to order into) , the staff were all really nice and welcoming. Great fresh squeezed juices, coffee's and teas. The cafe is very quaint and clean. The reason I couldn?t give it 5 starts is the... gentleman behind the counter. He is very LOUD and obtrusive and interrupts customers when they are giving him their order. Healso makes remarks like ?you?ve got to be kidding me? when an order comes in online and he disagrees with it. I came in at 0815on a Saturday morning with my book and it was crazy how loud and rude this fellow was. I finished my things and left. In thefuture I will order to go. The art in the cafe is beautiful and it could be a very comfortable place but my man behind thecounter is a domineering force of negativity. They should keep him in the back. Read more
Very nice cafe in the middle of New Haven! They have all your typical options for coffee and breakfast. The muffins and coffee... were pretty nice and so was the decor. Overall a decent cafe! Read more
First time in New Haven and stopped by to get some hot drinks. Owners are really nice and the cinnamon almond chocolate chip... flat biscotti is a must-try! Highly recommend:) Read more
The food was great and the smoothie was amazing , however I was just concerned because a older lady came to me twice asking me... about another order saying ingredients were finished and if I could choose substitutes. Very confusing setup and I was hoping myorder would be accurate after these two encounter. The Process after the order is taken need to be streamlined to not mess upother people?s order cause this could easily be the case for mine. Read more
Such a great cafe right in downtown New Haven. Lots of space but still feel likes cozy- would recommend!
