Seems like management or core staff has change. Constantly closing 30 minutes early and their hours are never correct online.... I?ve been sitting here for 21 minutes waiting for a burrito in an empty restaurant as 5 employees chat and sit behind theregister. Multiple tables need to be cleaned. I've been meaning to try this place for over a year and was not disappointed! The customer service was impeccable, the... restaurant was clean and had a lovely ambience, and the bathrooms were well maintained. The prices were competitive. Therestaurant was quiet as we arrived an hour before closing (9pm). Our server Neylani was extremely personable, kind, patient &professional. At her recommendation I chose the two taco combination plate with mango habenera chicken black beans, rice &spicy cole slaw. The mango habenero was mildly spicy and delicious! Hub ordered a cheese quesadilla with rice & beans & a beer(Two Roads IPA) and the kids & grandkids each had two ground beef tacos. We had free refill sodas and free nacho chips with red& green sauce, which were fresh and crispy. The portions were slightly smaller than I anticipated, however I did not leavehungry at all. The food was filling, fresh & delicious. Unfortunately I did not get the chef's name but he was smiling andgraciously waved at all the kids before we left. I will definitely be returning! I would like to try the Carne Asada whichNeylani also highly recommended; she said they run out very early so maybe I'll make it a brunch lol. I was here when I went to new haven ct for my dad n stepmoms wedding and it?s hands down the best burrito I?ve ever had.... Definitely better than chipotle, and that?s saying something. I?ll definitely be back whenever I come back to new haven ct(which will be soon) Read more

They pretty much doubled the price of a large salsa few weeks ago was 5.25 now its 8.95. I get everything is going up but that's... kinda crazy. Chips and salsa are part of the meal for me, not just the one little cup you get with it. Guess it's time to find anew place, no way anyone is going to pay almost 10 after taxes for 16oz of SALSA!! Food is just ok nothing to write home aboutbut it's also inconsistent. I'll spend my money at Camacho Garage way better food. Read more
I?d hate to leave a bad review butttt ?. I?m not sure if it?s because we ordered take out but the tacos were soggy, falling... apart and did not taste fresh. The rice was over cooked & the Salsa was terrible ? ???? i will say the refried beans were prettygood but overall bad experience !! Read more
