Good food, mainly chicken shawarma and baba ghanoush (made with roasted eggplant and tahini paste). Chicken Shawarma was juicy... and tender. Very crispy Falafel. Chicken kabab was also good but with fewer pieces. The french fries portions were great. Lambshawarma was a little dry. Baklava was filled with too much cinnamon, very strange. Recently, there is a huge surge in price.Not worth the current price. Working staffs changed as well, who are not good at cooking. Served us smelly chicken andundercooked falafel. Read more

This place has the most amazing pizza I have ever had. I am originally from Chicago, and moved to the East Coast for work. I... tend to like East Coast Pizza in general compared to Chicago deep dish. I was told that New Haven Connecticut had the best pizzain America and after traveling there several times I’m absolutely certain that is true. I’ve been to all the big eateries inNew Haven including Pepe’s and Zenelis And this place is so much better than both of them. Try the lamb Shawarma pizza it’sprobably the best pizza that I’ve ever had in my life, and I am a big pizza either. My wife also is a big fan of Chicago deepdish and even she agrees that this is the best pizza that she’s ever had in her life. My mother who is a very picky eaterworse than a toddler, even agreed that this is some of the best pizza she’s ever had. If you come to New Haven this is theplace you should be eating pizza, and please try the lamb Shawarma pizza it’s so unique and tasty I’m sure you guys will alllove it. Also the owners are amazing and humble people, they always make you feel welcome and their prices are very reasonable.Their menu is very vast, and I love all of the Middle Eastern dishes. I haven’t had many of the subs however all of the foodthat I’ve had on multiple occasions has always been amazing. I highly recommend them and hope you all enjoy it as much as wehave. We actually live in Philadelphia and initially found this place while traveling to Maine, and have been coming back manytimes just to eat there as the food is so good. I work in a nearby laboratory. Every time I finish my experiments late at night I would order some food here. I usually call in... and they can prepare very fast, within 10 minutes in average, which is really good for me cauz working continuously for morethan 5 hrs makes me exhausted and urgently looking for re-fueling.
