Hands down, the best cafe in New Haven! Come early in the morning if you want one of their fabulous loaves of bread, as they... sell out fast. Ryan and the staff at this location are so friendly. On weekdays, the vibes here are immaculate for getting workdone (weekends are busy with brunch). Also a terrific spot for networking as well as for a date. I recommend the yoghurtparfait, the flourless chocolate cake, literally any pastry (but especially the seasonal ones!!), and the bacon egg and cheesesandwich. Great coffee selection too!!! Read more

Walked over for brunch/lunch. Ordered an iced chai latte to enjoy while waiting for my food order. They have ample seating both... inside and out, and the place was popping on a Saturday! Food is absolutely delicious! My order was for takeout, so the photosshow the food in boxes still. They also sell various loafs of bread, too! Read more

Stopped by G Cafe Bakery for some pastries and a sandwich. The pastries were amazing, really nice selection. My only regret is I... couldn't try all of them, we'll be going back to try more. The breakfast sandwiches are very nice if you want something moresubstantial than a pastry, the were really packed with flavor, and will hold you over for a while. The lattes were also verygood. You'll definitely want to try to go at an off peak time because the line can get pretty long. G Cafe is absolutely worthit. Read more

First time at G Cafe. Food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the oc I breakfast sandwich and an orangejuice. Pre-warning, it's... a bit spicy but amazing. Prices were a bit on the steep side, but is expected given the location. Very environmentally friendlydown to the boxed water and plant based utensils. I gave it 4 stars for one reason, costumer service was not 100%. When Iinquired about the sandwich _____ explained exactly what it was to the T. I was told to sit down and it would be brought out tome. However they did not. My name was called to retrieve it. Not a huge deal, however I was in the middle of some research anddocumenting and had to break my concentration to get it. While dining, I was mildly perplexed when 4 other costumers that werealso dining in were brought their order. Again, not a huge deal. What bothered me, having worked in the restaurant and costumerservice industry, was that I had said thank you several times to _____ and was not acknowledged at all. Not the slightestresponse, no your welcome have a nice day, or enjoy,, not even a nod. And I was definitely heard. I most certainly will returnand would recommend G Cafe to anyone. Hopefully next time the costumer service will be a little more engaging. Read more

What a lovely bakery! We were really impressed by their freshly baked bread, and the pastries were great. The Ol?G breakfast... sandwich was flavorful and filling, and the avocado toast was very fresh! The staff was pleasant and welcoming, especiallyTyler, the manager. They were busy, but they handled it well and got everyone?s food to them in a timely manner. We woulddefinitely visit again! Read more

Super cute, cozy bakery with great eats. The inside is super cozy with not much seating but there is outdoor space seating for... extra room. The latte was great. I had the adult grilled cheese and it was bursting with flavor with the buttery bread withthe sweetness of the fig and caramelized onions with a more creamy brie added a nice texture to really bring it alltogether. It was my husband first time trying avocado toast and he loved it! Glad his first experience with this eat was awonderful one. The other items on the menu sounded great as well. 1000x would recommend this place. Read more
