This is such an amazing way to meet cats and, for those maybe new to having cats, experience the different personalities that... cats can have. The staff knows all of the cats and cares deeply about all of them. This place is super cute! All the staff are very friendly and the cats were amazing! I love the fact the staff kept us updated... on which cats were friendly and the cats that don’t enjoy being pet as much as some others do. Over all it was an awesomeexperience and I will definitely be back. I would also like to mention The prices are also very reasonable and it’s definitelyworth the money to go! :) Read more
Mew Haven Cat Cafe was truly a wonder!! Super fun experience, and an amazing and thoughtful way to get these sweet kitties... adopted. I went with two friends, and we had a blast! I really wished I could have stayed longer, and the employees there are sosweet. 10/10 recommend!! Read more
This is already one of my favorite things to do in Connecticut! The café has good food (especially recommend the banana bread)... and drinks that you can enjoy surrounded by ~25 different cats, all with very different personalities. I am a cat person and wasbasically in heaven! My wife is not as keen on cats, but also had a lovely time sipping a delicious latte while catsoccasionally came up to her. There are tons of cat trees, shelves, and bridges everywhere so there were plenty of adventurouskitties to watch even for someone who doesn't like to get up and pat them all. Read more
What a great experience! I took my two boys during spring break and they had an absolute blast! We loved learning about all of... the kitties there and seeing their personalities. Such a fun experience!! I wish there was more places like this. Definitely need to research and follow all guidelines online... before trying to go because you need to buy tickets. We drove an hour and a half to visit this cute Cafe! The employees weresweet and friendly and the drinks were delicious! The cats are adorable and have many different personalities and sizes, goingabout this form of adopting cats is amazing because you can really spend time with them! Read more
I’ve been to the Mew Haven cat cafe at least 30 times and every experience has been amazing. The Covid protocols are up to... date and the staff are super careful to ensure that the guests and the cats are safe. The staff are always happy answerquestions and make sure everyone knows and follows the rules. The drinks and food are very yummy and I always try to havesomething new each time I go. The cat lounge is always clean with plenty of toys for the cats to play with, beds, and toys.Litter boxes are clean (I’ve never noticed a smell or them being dirty). There is also seating to eat and enjoy your snacksand drinks. The cats are always friendly and I’m so glad they have a way to find happy homes while having visitors. I don’tmind ever going again to support the cats and the business. I highly suggest supporting this local business and taking arelaxing hour to hang out with some amazing cats!!! :) Read more
These kitties are clearly very loved and well cared for. It was clean and only smelled a bit like pee which can be expected with... 20+ cats. There were a couple cats that didn’t seem to like being around so many people and may have thrived more in adifferent environment so I felt a bit bad for them. The coffee was decent but that’s not what we went for to be honest. All inall we really enjoyed ourselves! Read more
