My new favorite in New Haven! The decor, the patio and of course the food. It felt like I was back in Istanbul, so delicious!... Zi took such a good care of us, anything from Turkish tea to wrapping up the meal with Turkish coffee and the freshestbaklava. Highly recommend for a business meal, or a date night! Read more

We didn't make dinner reservation, but we were early enough that they were able to have us. One appetizer and 2 entrees and they... were all great, and they were not the typical dishes from the other Mediterranean restaurants. Will return to try their otherdishes on the menu. Read more
Stopped by here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. There weren't too many people, which made sense given that we came by in the... summer when students aren't on campus. My party ordered four dishes: the house salad, Kofte, Chicken Shish, and the MidpointAdana. The house salad, which came out at $10, was excellent. The dressing they used made the salad taste quite good andincluded many types of vegetables - cucumbers, carrots, and a couple more. Impressive dish. I ordered the chicken shish, whichwas good, but nothing to write home about. The chicken was quite tender and seasoned decently. The yogurt sauce that came withit was not my cup of tea. I ended up not using much of it at the end. Not great bang for your buck in my opinion, as the servingsizes weren't that large either. I love, love, love this place! Great ambience, friendly staff, and most importantly the food is amazing! The coffee here is the... best in the area and I wish I would have found this place sooner. Stunning salmon dishes and the best vegetarian musaka on the planet. Midpoint Istanbul is a New Haven staple offering... accessible and delicious cuisine in a fresh atmosphere. The red lentil soup is the best I've had. For lunch the salads aregreat. If you're there for dinner, I also recommend the rice pudding for dessert. It's the perfect balance of freshness andsweetness. I also like that they have a full bar and good wine selection. The owner/chef is very nice and makes you feelwelcome. We go here at least once a month. This is a really integral part of New Haven's dining scene. If you're lookingfor something different but not too far out there, this is the place. Read more
I had a wonderful birthday dinner at Midpoint! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in both ordering and recommending... local stores for ingredients. The food was great and the Turkish red wine was a great compliment to the lamb shish. Would loveto visit again! Read more
