Great place! We stopped in here for breakfast and were very pleasantly surprised. We?d thought about going here a bunch of times... but never stopped because it never looks open. Today we tried the door anyways and went in. It?s Very clean, lots of options onthe menu from breakfast to lunches, sandwiches, dinners, pizza, ice cream. We got a small and big breakfast, both were bigportions and delicious. We also ordered a single pancake for our son and it was the whole size of the plate, huge! Everythingwas so good and very reasonably priced, especially for how much you get. We?ll definitely be back for lunch another day. Theyjust need to make sure they start turning on their open signs so people know they?re open. Read more
Been there twice. Both times the food was good but the second time I was short changed and was told the owner doesn't give... change, really?? Then your nickel and diming your customers for a hidden charge...So tired of this in the restaurant industry! Read more
We had the Big Breakfast. There was four of us. The Blues Brother and Al capone theme was fun!! The place is beautiful,... Definitely a hidden gem! The service was great. The staff was very attentive to our needs and quickly substituted any thing theydid not have. The only weak thing was the coffee was cold but the food came in full portions. We had eggs and Turkey bacon withhome fries and toast and pancakes! The food came out hot and delicious and well portioned!! We all took food home! Clean andcomfortable environment! This place is incredible. The food is so flavorful, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. I was... amazed especially at how little grease was on the sweet potato fries my mom had and also on the onion rings my dad ordered. Atmost restaurants, these items are greasy. Not here. We were very happy. Anytime we are in New Haven, we will be eating herefor sure. Read more
Amazing find. I got the BBQ Bacon cheeseburger and my wife got the Swiss Mushroom Burger. Now mind you, I'm used to going to... these Burger joints and the Burger wasn't enough so i got the "appetizer bacon and cheese fries". Omg... the burgers are largeand in charge. The appetizer is big enough that it'll feed 3 to 4 people. Burgers were amazing and really were cooked mediumrare. the cheese fries were delicious. The eggplant tower is phenomenal! I was surprised by the food here. Unassuming and served on paper plates but everything we... had was fresh and perfectly prepared. The eggplant is thin sliced and fried, but not greasy at all. Fresh greens. Nicecheese. Good dressing. Great sweet potato fries. We'll definitely be back. Read more
