I used to live just down the street from Brick Oven Pizza, New Haven’s finest pizza establishment. Ever since I moved away,... I’ve been heartbroken every Saturday night, when I inevitably crave my favorite slice. I come here every time I pass throughtown. The pizza is consistently sublimely delicious, a cut above even in a city known for its pizza. Also, the mozzarella stickscene in New Haven is just plain said, and the Mozz sticks at Brick oven are delicious. Best in the city by far. Read more
Six of us stopped here for dinner before heading to a show. The pizza was good! Thick with cheese, a few pepperoni slices... spread across one of the pies. The crust has the signature crisped buck over char. They have a small selection of beers. Owner and staff were enthusiastic and going out of their way to be helpful. Read more

My favorite pizza they make it very cheesy, the sauce is delicious, and the dough is not to thick. They make the best pizza I... have tasted so far in CT. I am from New York and I have had some struggle finding pizza similar to NYC and this one is goodenough for me. I only like ordering from here. Read more
I was recommended this pizza and I definitely enjoyed it. They don't have pork toppings!!! I wish they would have a pizzeria... like this where I'm from. The beef pepperoni & turkey bacon both tasted amazing. The crust was perfect thin, crispy, hot andlarge slices. Read more
Just ordered off the DoorDash app. Didn’t get what I wanted. And they skimped on the additional toppings I ordered. I mean... like 1 pepperoni to a slice skimped. And I asked for spinach but they decided to give me basil. Also there sausage isn’tsausage. It’s disgraceful by far the WORST pizza in CT. Absolutely terrible. First, everything was cold. Wings were hard as rocks. My guess is they pre fried them, waited an hour... before trying to refry them to “crisp” them up, but it was not executed. These wings were dryer then eating a spoon ofcinnamon. The pizza wasn’t much better. Extremely inconsistent, some slices had an extremely well charred crust, others hadthe bottom burnt to a crisp. Don’t waste your time when there is so many amazing pizza spots in New Haven. Read more
I've been coming to Brick Oven very consistently for like 4 years, and I can say without reservation that it is my favorite... pizza place in New Haven. Delicious, hot, thin-slice pie cooked in a brick oven ( and wings if you want them). Fast service andgood for take out too. When my 30- year old brother ate here the first time he said it was the best pizza he'd ever had -- andI would tend to agree :) Read more
