This is my new favorite place. I would normally not pay $8.79 for a smoothie, but they offer a pairing. A sandwich/wrap with a... smoothie. It was so worth it. Ordered ahead, was not ready when I walked in, but my boyfriend?s was, who had ordered after me for the exact same time. Ordered... cheddar sun chips. Given garden vegetable sun chips with no warning, disgusting. Tell me if you don?t have what I ordered.Smoothies are always average here. I just had the BEST smoothie I have ever had IN MY 59 years on this earth!!! The chocolate and Peanut butter had just the right... amount of peanut butter to off set the chocolate. Hope I get to have another one before I head home!!! Read more

As the smoothie was being made, the employee put in a whole cup of sugar. It didn?t taste like a smoothie, it tasted as though I... was drinking sugar. Go elsewhere if you?re hoping for a refreshing, natural smoothie. Read more

I have been a long-time customer of Tropical Smoothie in New Haven since its conception. I would often score points quickly... because of my love for the Bahama Mama and Peanut Paradise smoothies. From time to time, I would have issues with my food orderbut didn?t make mention of it because they were minor. However, during the times of those issues, I would be a pick-up customer.During the pandemic and to date, I became a delivery customer and had the most issues with my food and smoothie quality. Mostrecently, I had two major issues with the food quality and timeliness of the order, in which I had to request refunds andpotentially stop business at the establishment. All that to say, I have never been met with such people who have shownintegrity, care, and superb customer service as the owner-operator, Lenore, and the staff member, Equality. Lenore went aboveand beyond to ensure that I remained a loyal customer by calling me and offering me her trust/commitment to the company.Equality was very genuine and understanding. They both followed up with me, and for that, I will continue to be a customer ofthis establishment. Read more

I received not only the most watery and bitter smoothie, but also a wrap that contained rotten pineapples and whatever sauce the... use for the Caribbean jerk chicken wrap is usually a red color with amazing flavor? well not here. It tasted of vinegar and wasabsolutely old. When I called to receive a refund I was given the run around, I called again and spoke to a different person andthey assured me within days if I don?t get a call back they have found my order and will refund me and still nothing. I?mpregnant and was eating a bite or two of this when I really noticed something was very off. I?m just upset that it was neverrefunded, and the customer service was horrible. Like I wasn?t trying to sound like a rude person; I was very nice about it andthey did not take it seriously. In the past I have also received food that had a staple in it, and while that was resolved atthe time with a new sandwich, it?s clear they are not careful and not attentive to what they are serving.
