I have been a loyal customer of G&G for 30 years. I started eating here when I was a teenager, and I am now well into my 40s and... still call them for take-out pizza and other foods about twice a month for myself and my family. The food is tasty, but the mainreason I continue to give them my business is the wonderful attention to detail that makes our meal so much more enjoyable..First of all, the order has always been correct. I don?t think I?ve ever had to ask them to re-make anything I?ve ordered in 3decades. Also,, if you order a pizza, you are offered parmesan cheese and crushed pepper packets at the register before youleave. If you order french fries and/or onion rings, you are provided salt, pepper, and ketchup, this has already been placedin the bag - you don?t have to specifically ask for it. They use common sense apparently which is appreciated as most people doenjoy salt and ketchup with french fries and/or onion rings. Likewise, if you order a salad, there is an adequate amount ofdressing and a few packs of crackers already in the bag. The entire order includes plastic utensils and napkins etc. Things likethis mean a lot to me. There is nothing worse than getting home with an order of take-out and the food being preparedincorrectly and/or not having the sauces, condiments, utensils, napkins etc. that you need readily available to fully enjoy it. Whereas if you go to most other restaurants you will have to ask, sometimes several times over, just to get the basics, G&G goesabove and beyond. Read more
Maybe I'm biased because I grew up on G&G, but it hits the spot every time. Love the hoagies, fries, onion rings, mini cheese... burgers, and of course pizza. Read more
They forgot half our order and didn't acknowledge fault. I would have given more stars but they didn't offer anything or comp... the fries I ordered. The two behind the counter didn't even call for a manager to assist and just ignored us. Funny how we wereactually looking forward to trying their food again. Read more
Teenager cashier was not having a good day and it showed on her.: ( Teenage boy tried hard to compensate for it.:) Pizza crust... was super dry and I might as well been eating the cardboard box it came in. Toppings were good though. Expected more for theprice. Read more
Got a meat ball sub and two pizza's from this place. Sandwich was pretty good, but the pizza's crust might as well have been... boot leather. I don't know what happened or if they got dead yeast, but I wont spend another dollar at this place. Read more
The crust was so crispy. The pizza was really good. Lasagna was good and had lots of flavor. I'm glad I tried this place. I will... definitely be back. Definitely worth a try. So much better than pizza chains. Do yourself a favor and try it! Read more
So good! We had the pizza and a Philly cheesesteak for dinner and pie for dessert. Will definitely visit again!
