This was my second time to have lunch here. The food is supposed to be good here. I ordered the Old Fashioned Pub burger. ... Medium. With fries. Fries were ok. Not great not bad. Standard. Burger was picture perfect. Stacked nicely, bun was verygood, close to being one of the best. Beef as perfectly cooked to medium. But here I come... the beef patty was tasteless. Nosalt, pepper or ANY seasoning. It was like chewing wet paper towel... ZERO flavor. What a shame. Next time I will order thesame but I will ask to have it seasoned. It could have beef a great burger but it was NOT. Since I did not like it and paidfor it, it's 1 star. Read more
Wonderful patio and dog friendly. Great menu selections, they all looked so tasty. We tried the Thai chicken wrap and... pastrami Swiss on marble. With a delicious Pub 42 cocktail. Read more

I just recently moved back so it has been 6 years since I’ve been here……. Guess what….. The quality HAS NOT changed a... bit. WOW it’s just as amazing as it was years ago. This is a goto for me for lunch or dinner. Besides the food, staff is ofcourse amazing as well. Read more
The staff was great. Millionaire burger was delicious, worth a try. The Prime Rib sandwich yum. Reuben sliders, the sauerkraut... was dry, need more sauce too. But pretzel buns yummy. Fish & Chips was good but basic. I did hear the meatloaf was really reallygood, but we did not get to try that. Millionaire Burger was recommended as #1 choice to try. Read more
Went here Easter weekend with our son and really enjoyed the stop. It was very busy, so we at first didn't think we had time to... stay - but they ended up finding us a table to eat at the bar. The tap beer, drink and food selections were good and the placewas very lively - with some great country music playing in the background. We started with an order of popovers since we hadn'thad any for a while and absolutely loved the butter that came with them. We ended up all ordering the Fish Special for Fridayafter hearing that it was walleye (see picture) and all really liked the meal. I had my first experience at Pub 42, and I'm not sure that I would go back. We got seated right away at noon on a Sunday, which... was nice, but although there weren't many people there, the service was really slow. Also, I ordered the prime rib sandwichexpecting it to be like a French dip, but it didn't come with any au jus, and it was incredibly spicy. There should be a symbolnext to it on the menu indicating that it's that spicy! It was also very hot in the restaurant (in January). So much so that itwas uncomfortable. If I could give six stars to Pub 42, I would. First and foremost, the menu is vast and it has a lot of unique options that you... wouldn't find at most other restaurants. One perfect example of many would be the deviled eggs which are served with two stripsof bacon. This appetizer was simply amazing! Second, the servings are large and the food quality and phenomenal. I ordered theturkey dinner which came with a significant amount of Turkey fresh cranberries and mashed potatoes with gravy andstuffing.
