PLEASE THUMBS UP IF HELPFUL This place is excellent! We went with a party of 10 for a birthday party. The Brussels sprout and... ricotta spread appetizers were incredible. I tried the felonious behavior and detox drink. I loved the use of edible decorativeflowers throughout the drinks and meals. The chefs special was a 24oz bone in ribeye. This is a 3.5 - 4 star restaurant that's begging to be 5 star. Creative appetizers, salads and entree's. Freshly made,... vegetarian options, locally sourced. A very creative menu. Staff are friendly, everything clean and well maintained. My oneknock is some of the entrees (eggplant roulade, seafood stew) just need something in the seasoning to zip it up. It's not blandby any means. The food is good but it falls short of great and that menu deserves to be great. But maybe it's me, or an offnight. Don't be afraid to go, you'll have a fun time and the menu is truly unique. It deserves you to form your own opinion. Read more
They have few tables outdoor and today was prefect weather for it. Fresh cut chicken with mushroom risotto was delicious ????,... highly recommend it. The seared spanish octopus as appetizer was good, love the carrot puree as sauce. There are few glutenfree options on the menu. The parking lot is valet, we only found out after we pulled in. I believe there is a small self parkon the other side of the tavern but it is small and not marked. Read more
I came here for two things: their French Onion Soup and their Cheesesteak. Both were incredible. One of the best French Onion... Soups I've ever had (and I've had a lot!). The cheese was delicious and "baked" on to the bowl. The soup itself was hot andflavorful! The Cheesesteak was filling and also delicious. I got it with provolone and some fried onions. Man, I was stuffed butit was a great lunch! Sat at the bar, which I enjoyed as well. Wish I lived closer to this place. (It's 90 minutes from me!)They do offer valet parking in the first lot but I went the second lot on the other side of the building and parked myself. Read more

I have been meaning to try Bowman's Tavern for some time now but the stars didn't align. That all changed the other day and on... a beautiful spring evening I was able to get a reservation outside. The patio area is a bit cramped and there isn't much of aview but it was fine. We were seated right away, the wait staff was maybe a touch slow for my liking but by no means were theyslow. Everyone was very friendly, the food was very good, if you're here I recommend the mac n cheese!! My burger was good, mywife really enjoyed here salad. We will definitely come back to eat here again. We went for a nice drive and stopped here for an early dinner for our 39th anniversary. As always, food and drinks were great!... Love the new Fall menu! Nice selections of comfort food. Beth, our waitress was very attentive. We would come more often, but welive an hour away. Read more
