It was a nice place to watch a football game, although not a sports bar at all. Food was okay - my $12 crab cake was mostly... bread crumbs, so that was a huge disappointment. Read more

Found the Square One Pub on a general search of the area to see what else was around the Peddlers Village/New Hope area. Family... was in town and the five of us landed up here and were not disappointed. Fours apps for the table (calamari, shrimp tempura, potstickers, and fried pickles) were all expertly prepared and hot from the kitchen. Other selections included salmon, roastbeef sandwich, red & yellow beet salad, chicken fingers & fries (granddaughter), and one other entree I can't recall. Everythingwas outstanding, as were the cocktails we enjoyed. Arrived around 5:20pm on a Friday and the bar/dining room was busy. We wereseated in the more quiet room they call The Library. it was perfect. Need to go back. Read more

The meal we shared tonight was superb. We had been here for dessert and cocktails before and loved it. We shared the wedge salad... with really fresh Bleu cheese dressing and the hot roast beef and cheese sandwich with fries. The sandwich came with realhorseradish and not just sauce and it was great. The drinks were a lovely Cosmo for my Peggy and a Sam Adams draft for me. Thecocktails are made with care and served beautifully. The coup de grace was the apple crisp dessert that came with a side ofvanilla ice cream with caramel sauce. OMG. Ten bells for the dessert. We must come back soon. The service is warm and friendly.Kudos to all. Read more

Interesting vibrant friendly local Pub . A mix of different types of people all having fun and chatting . While it?s a fun place... for meeting new folks, or being with old friends it is a bit pricey .. the food was flavorful lots of food choices, appetizers, and the drinks kept flowing . Try it ! Meet a new friend! Read more

It seems like this is a place to go for the older locals. In our hour there from 4-5pm on a beautiful Saturday, it was mostly... empty. But the folks who were there all seemed to know each other and average age was in their 60s. As far as food, I had aturkey burger that tasted strange. Couldn't put my finger on it, then realized it was probably freezer burnt. If it wasn't, thenthey have to find a new recipe. The fries were pretty good though, and our server was a good dude. My wife's roast beef sandwichwas mostly bread with a small side of beef. Oh well. In general, this is a tired place that needs new energy. Read more

Always great food, friendly smiles, and kind words from a stranger. The food is consistently delicious and has delighted both... family and friends. I only wish it were a bit closer to home, but the drive is relaxing. Read more

I loved the food here! It was reasonably priced & delicious! The drinks were yummy too! However, what made the experience above... and beyond was the service! Our waitress was so kind and really made an impression on us :) Read more
