Upscale and swanky, this meal was one I won't forget in a while. Not only was the food unique and delicious enough to make any... foodie happy, the ambiance was stunning. We sat outside on the porch overlooking the Delaware River - right at the railing.Honestly that's the best place for couples to sit anyway - next to each other as opposed to across! We had the beef tartar asan appetizer, I had the jail Island salmon, and my dinner companion had the chicken with truffle stuffing. Every dish was theperfect balance of flavors, and if I wasn't so full from the coconut curried black rice, I would have tried dessert! Theservice was also excellent. Our server was named Lindsay and she was friendly and helpful, and gave us just the right amount ofattention. I did think the cocktails were a little expensive - they were city prices - but I guess being right next to theplayhouse and along the water lets them set the price point that high Read more

Bar service was quick and efficient as we waited for our table. Seating outside on the rail facing the Delaware River could not... have been any nicer of a dinner setting. Our waitress, Erin, was spot on in terms of being there when needed, not being therewhen not. Food was very good - Strawberry Beat Salad and the Gnocchi appetizers were both great and the Scallops (not pictured)and Salmon entrees were cooked to perfection and very tasty. An optional bread board had three types of breads and threetoppings to try with the breads, also well worth the carbs and calories. Read more

We came here for my anniversary dinner and had an overall nice experience. The staff were very kind and courteous about letting... us change our outside seating to have a better view of the river. The view is 5/5 stars for sure. Located right on the Delawareriver. A perfect spot for a romantic date or anniversary dinner. The drinks were just okay. Not a lot of flavor and prettywatered down (even before the ice melted). I got the Spritz which didn’t really have a lot of depth or complexity to it. Thefood was beautiful and tasty but the portions for some of the main dishes were quite small. We started with a first course ofshrimp and grits. It was tasty and beautiful. An appropriate size for a first course. The salmon main was very good and a heartyportion. It could have used a lot more spice and flavor though, especially when ticketed as a spicy dish. The chicken was adisappointment especially after being so highly recommend by the waitress. It was just a single chicken leg and really nothingspecial. Pretty measly for an expensive dish. But the staff was great, the food decent, and the view incredible. Read more

We were on our way back to New York. We stopped by for dinner to Stella's. The place looked nice from outside in a little town.... The location was great with amazing views. Also the food was really good. One of our plates was the steak and it was a littleundercooked. They replaced it with another one no questions asked. Plus they comped us desserts as well at the end. Service is A+. We will definitely be back when revisit the Town Read more

Stella located in New Hope, with a great location by the Delaware river, with scenic views across the river. When researching... the menu to Stalla I saw the executive chef Michael O’Halloran was featured on food network with a victory over ‘Beat BobbyFlay’ smoked Duck. Knowing that I had to try a dish with such notoriety. I really enjoyed the Smoked duck, complemented withan earthy risotto and smoked mushrooms. Everyone was delighted with their meals, it seemed that the wives highly enjoyed theirdesserts. Stella was nice with a modern elegant decor, with great scenic appeal, and above average food. It’s a must trystaple of New Hope. Read more

The place itself is a beautiful building. The orchard salad was spot on. The dressing was very nice. The fried shrimp on the app... menu was very good. I ordered the pasta and mushrooms and was so salty I couldn't eat it. And my husband ordered the scallopsand said his dish was too salty as well. Will we go back? Probably not. The prices are way too high for the quality of food. Andwe dont have a problem paying any amount for good quality food. My opinion it's a tourist trap that will get the customersthrough the doors. From beginning to end, Stella was a gem. Everyone from the hostess to the bus person was super friendly, attentive, and great.... Food was amazing. I ordered as much as my stomach could fit because I wanted to everything. Their menu is season based, whichjust gives me another reason to come back. The food was great, super fresh, and arrived in timely fashion. Would definitelyrecommend this place to anyone looking for a date night out or a regular lunch. Ambience, atmosphere, and decor is beautiful. Read more
