One of the coolest and most niche cafes I?ve ever been too. I come here almost every weekend to get a sausage, egg, and cheese... because it?s one of the best things I?ve ever eaten. Everything ordered comes out in a clean organized fashion and in a timelymanner. Megan and Tony are two absolute gems of people that are always accommodating and friendly. This is gourmet level food in a friendly, comfortable, relaxed sweet little cafe. Homemade everything! Tony and Megan are so... welcoming and kind and funny. New favorite spot! I?ve had breakfast at the speckled egg several times and enjoyed every meal. The coffee is delicious and the... menu is inventive, made with healthy, fresh food and expertly prepared. There are interesting new items to try every week aswell as the usual items. I had the most amazing lunch I've ever had in my life. And I eat out alot! The Corn Souffle was outstanding, fresh and light!... The side salad with Green Goddess dressing was amazing as well! Light and tasty. I am counting the days until the weekend so Ican go again! I am going to try everything on the menu. THIS PLACE IS OUTSTANDING! YOU MUST GO! Chef Meg Loos and Tony Artur, two familiar faces from the New Hope/Lambertville restaurant scene, serve up scrumptious,... inventive breakfast and lunch cuisine in a charming café. Though only open on the same days as the Golden Nugget Market,definitely keep your eye on this spot, ideally with your hands on one of their delicious fried chicken sandwiches. Read more
