Park place restaurant and Bar 10 SEPT 2022 The occasion was an after funeral luncheon. Park Place opened early to accommodate... us as we were a large party of about forty people. They seated us outside under a tent and it was a beautiful day. Service wasvery good as was the food. We had several options to choose from so everyone was able to find a meal to their liking. Theservice was not rushed, and we had the space for all the time we wanted. We will need to return but this time for a happieroccasion. Read more
Ok. So my review below from a few months ago is slowly changing. I still think the service is amazing. Honestly they did an... amazing job with hiring because the staff is on point. The drinks are also still absolutely fantastic. Sadly, I feel like tofood is suffering a little. I went maybe 2 weeks weeks ago and had the Buffalo wings and the lobster mac with a friend. Thewings we hard, almost uncomfortable to eat. The the Lobster mac had no flavor. I noticed the lack of flavor on the mac beforewhich is why I request salt, pepper and garlic butter to try to season it up but it just tasted like milk and pasta noodles. Notsure what was changed about the recipe but I think I'm done with the Lobster mac. Fast forward a week later to this passSaturday where I order the wings again. And once again hard as a rock. They taste like they have been pre cooked, then refriedwhen ordered. Not good at all. My daughter order the Drunken Chicken parm and that was good. Anyway, still love Park Place butthe last two times were very disappointing. -----------?---------------------------------?----------- Park place had become mynew favorite place. I am obsessed with the lobster mac and the fig martini. Fatima is the best waitress I have ever had. Theyneed to give her a raise or something. I'll be back...over and over again. We ate here yesterday and sat on the porch. Service was great. They had a party on the patio and inside but it didn't affect... our service. They went above and beyond to ensure good service. The goose bump martini drink was soooo good. I had 2 and got lit. Calamari was little on the softer side but portion was perfect... for two. Chicken parm was slammin. Had to eat half the next day hahaha. Wife got the chicken sandwich but they brought out thewrong item when I took picture’s. They corrected it and apologized, no biggie. She liked her sandwich. One suggestion is whenentering I was really confused where to check-in for my resy. I was by the front door watching staff walk by as I awkwardlystood there. Eventually after stopping a waitress in her tracks I asked and was directed. The atmosphere and food are both great. We were a party of five without reservations and the place was full so they seated us at... a tight four person table. A larger table opened up and they moved us without us asking about it which I greatly appreciated.But.... I ordered the Short Ribs and it 100% was not short ribs. They served me a pot roast attempting to pass it off as shortribs. It tasted great..... For a pot roast, but I did pay for short ribs. If it wasn't for all the other positives, I would haverated even lower. I may or may not give this place another shot, but won't be ordering the short ribs ???? Read more
This is my usual spot to grab a drink once a while. Staff are always friendly and service is always great. The place is... beautiful and whenever you visit, try to get a seat by the outdoor fire pit with a nice cocktail and enjoy the experience. Inregards to food, They change around the menu often so the food is never the same boring stuff and is always great. Some stuffcan be a bit pricey but that's what you get for quality stuff! Read more
