Three stars for being kind and the food being decent and plentiful. Good prices as well. I just do not care for the bbq. It's... drowned in a thick bbq sauce, not really flavorful definitely no bbq flavor. The rice dressing is good, just not seasonedenough. The Sunday BBQ lunches are good and they sell out fast. The restaurant is mainly a take out deli located in an old building.
Great food but get there early because they do a lot of the good stuff rather quickly
I ordered 2 large plate lunches shrimp and crab stew,and salad the stew was not even eatable it had no flavor, no crab meat and... shrimp was definitely frozen and couldn't tell it was shrimp, was supposed to have a salad but they put a piece of tomato skinin it no tomato's and the onion rings were dripping with grease hard and burnt paid over $40 dollars for this food and threweverything away no one could eat it! This is one of the best places to get plate lunches and/or poboys, burgers in this town. The food is so good and so much, it... usually knocks me out for about 2 hours right after I'm done eating it. Because of that, I'm only going to award it 4 stars. ButI enjoy the food so much, and they've never gotten my order wrong, I'm gonna go ahead and restore that star, totalling 5stars. So just be aware that after eating here, you will be basically incapacitated for 1-2 hours. Read more
