Went between 2-4 for the specials. Got a good chicken sandwich bigger then the bun. It was good. Went back 2 days later and... ordered the same thing and got a chicken pattie instead. If I go back I'm sticking to the gyro platter. Read more
Food was ok! Cashier was rude! Turned her back on us twice and answered the phone as we were ordering! I went back in the dining... area for part of my sons missing food, she acknowledged him while she took the order but said it was not on a copy receipt sheonly glanced at! Not gonna argue for 1.95! On the road all day from the Dakotas and I-80 was the usual parking lot so hoped off on hwy 30 and spotted this place. Gyros on... the sign got my attention, not many options for us out on the Northern Prairie and we needed a pit stop. First thing I noticedwas the prices, way cheaper than we're used to. I figured we were going to get mini gyros, so I also ordered a steak taco. The steak taco was way cheaper than Taco John's, so I had low expectations for that too. When the order was ready we jumpedback in the car and proceeded on our way to MI. When we opened the bag - we got a surprise. The biggest gyros we'd ever seen,at 3 dollars less than what we usually pay and more than 3 times the size. The steak taco was also jumbo sized and both wereheaping with meat plus accoutrements and tasted great. We could've shared one gyro and been full. We have been on a cross country trip for over 2 weeks now, and are now heading back home to Colorado, when we discovered AJ?s... for our lunch stop as we were sick of your typical quick fast food places! This was one of the best meals we had on the wholetrip! I had a wonderful Philly cheesesteak sandwich that was perfectly made! My son loved his bacon cheeseburger, and myhusband and dog Finn highly approved of their charbroiled chicken sandwich! Everything was freshly made, cooked to order,including the fries, and it was done pretty quickly for the amount of food we ended up getting! Aj?s decor will bring you back in time, which I really enjoy a different look. The food is always very good, I typically get... the corn dogs and the tamale boat and really like it. Read more
Low key this spot is F I R E ????I ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy and it was incredible second time here from out of... state , definitely coming back again Also they have tacos and gyros (also tried ) delicious and they have a happy hour whichare great cheap eats along with the pictured side salad 1$$ !!
