This is my third and last time going to this location. I really wanted to like this place which is why I held off on my review... but after three times there's nothing more to hope for. First we had the egg rolls. I noticed they were quite large and lookedvery good however they tasted pretty bad. The egg rolls had more of a soggy cabbage taste and there was no meat in them. We alsoordered the crab rangoon of which was in the oil way too long and were shriveled up and tasteless. Finally I ordered a shrimpentree with vegetables and a mild sauce. The onions and pea pods were swimming in that sauce all day long and were not freshwhatsoever. The shrimp had an extremely heavy breading on them to the point that once you took it off you realized all you werereally eating was nothing more than oil soaked breading with a touch of shrimp . One final thing that irked me was I asked themfor an additional sweet and sour sauce. One sauce for the egg rolls and another for the crab rangoon. I also told him that Ididn't need the hot mustard sauce. They ended up charging me an additional $0.65 for sweet and sour sauce which I thought waspretty lame. Maybe your dining experiences will be better there but for me it's a pass as there are better Chinese restaurantsin the New Lenox area. Read more
Last order was a sloppy mess. Every box had brown gravy all over it. The pan fried noodles were a burned mess. I’ll drive... farther and go to Mokena. Read more
This place has no idea what well done or extra well done means. Everytime Inorder any egg foo young I ask for extra well done (... don't judge me lol) and when I get home I always have to put it in a pan and fry it myself. They claim it is always well donebut I guess it gets lost in the language barrier. Read more
My family has been going here for decades. The best egg rolls & hot mustard sauce you will ever have. Definitely stop to eat!
First time ordering from here. It's so delicious. Service is excellent. Order was done in 15 minutes. We will be ordering... again. Big portions. We had the Beef Chow Fun House fried rice Mongolian Beef And my daughter's favorite Tangerinechicken. Definitely try this place if you haven't already. Read more
We always order from this restaurant in particular because it is the best out off all of the chain. We always have it delivered... and Ming is the best delivery driver ever. If he is a few minutes behind he calls and let’s us know. We let him know at thedoor one time we wanted chopsticks but we couldn’t put that in online he has always had them in there since! Been eating at Rising Sun for years and it's always fantastic. Large portions, great taste. We usually get take out but have... eaten in a few times.
