I've always had good experiences at this post. Very friendly folks, extremely clean facility. The grounds outside are fantastic.... It's one of my favorite posts. I've been to both inside & outside parties it's just a win win situation either way. This is a wonderful place to host any type of party. I have been here so many times for various things. It's always VERY clean,... I have never seen a dirty floor or bathroom. They offer bingo weekly, Gina's Tear Drop Cafe is currently cooking and sellingsome of their food here during the week. Room rentals are reasonable and you can also hire one of their bartenders for yourparty too. They will gladly set-up your tables (round or rectangular) the way you need them AND take them down! I had my wedding reception here in May 2018. Like everyone else, I was on a tight budget and wanted to find a reasonably priced... banquet hall for my reception in the Chicago area, which is hard to do. Luckily, I came across this American Legion Post. Thebanquet hall is modern and beautiful. Julie, the banquet hall manager, was a pleasure to work with. But, what I liked most aboutit was that we were able to choose our own vendors.
