Overall good place to grab a hot dog. Staff are very friendly. Kamp dogs is on a corner so you could pass by it just how the... building is designed.The place was nice however they should take the books out of the windows. Read more
I've been there on three separate occasions. The first time I had their mini burgers, just to get a sample of their burgers. On... my second and third visits, I had the Firehouse Burger. The third visit, I had them put Jalapeño peppers on it. The burger isbasically a cheese burger with chilli and raw onions on top. I bought it twice in a row, so it's safe to assume that I reallyenjoyed it. ???? Oh, be warned, it's a messy burger, lol. The food is top notch just make sure you go up to the counter to order its a new england weinery not a restaurant. The pancake... yes singular is bigger than a lot of places large pizzas. The breakfast burritos are massive (good luck finishing) and same withthe omelets. I highly recommend having The Kamp Dog along with a chili frito or, my personal choice, "dyno" frito. If you decideto go and on the way ask if there is a way to consume a weeks worth of calories on 1 sandwich just ask Ken. When he makes aspecial it truly is a special i had an excellent French onion soup last time. Every roll is buttered and toasted. 1 of a kindhot dogs made custom in CT to his specifications.
