I had the lobster roll, which was ok, but seemed under seasoned. The fries I got as well had no salt. I also had the lobster... bisque, which I thought had a weird tangy taste, so I didn't like it. Friends with me liked their pizza, though, and sons lovedtheir meatball subs. The seating is a tight squeeze when it's full up (which is probably the case often, as it's a popularplace), but the atmosphere is friendly enough. A Greek family mom and pop restaurant with excellent food in huge portions! It's a pizza place, buy we'd heard they had the... best lobster rolls around. Since we were revisiting in the area where my husband had been stationed in the Navy almost 40 yearsago, we wanted a great one! And we weren't disappointed. We ordered takeout on our first night of vacation. The staff was friendly and the food was ready on time. The Hawaiian fish wrap... was so delicious! Fresh fish and produce. My daughter liked her meatball sub, which I also enjoyed half of reheated the nextday. Even the leftovers were good! Would definitely order from here again. Read more

A New London classic!! My family and I enjoyed great pizza, eggplant grinders, and squid salad Athena style. I ate there often... in the 1970's when attending Connecticut College. Ate there again yesterday when we were passing through New London on the wayto Cape Cod. Food was even better than I remembered! Wonderful welcoming and attentive service also. Some of my favorite memories can be for no other reason, aside from being there, engrained. Ocean Pizza. Is the food... phenomenal? Meh. Are the soda cups retro red so you can?t see the waitresses eyelashes in your drink. Yes. Some happy childhoodmemories existed here, and still do. Read more

This place was amazing! The staff was super friendly and efficient. The food was ready very quickly and properly spaced. The... proportions were the BIGGEST surprise of all! Huge! The squid and onion rings were almost enough to be a meal by themselves! My side salad that came with my chicken parmesan was overflowing a dinner plate! The double burger was the size of youngestson's face. My teenage boys took home food! Let me say that again... There was so much food my teenager boys couldn't finish.
