Will never return! They should explain their process to their customers because I ordered a meal that came drenched in garlic.... It smelled so bad, I had to send it back. They gave it back to me after they rinsed it off!!! Not to mention their butter isdisgusting and their staff is rude. Read more
Tried this place for the first time. Misty was our server and she was so nice! My son got one of the seafood boils. (1/2lb... shrimp, 1/2 lb crawfish and some crab). It was all so good. The shrimp were delicious. We weren’t in love with the buttergarlic sauce but it was ok. The corn was not good but the rest of the boil was really great. The clam chowder was good and bigportion. I don’t think catfish is for me but it seemed well prepared for those that like it. The Cajun fries were really good.The bartender she was so nice and friendly and it was great to talk with her and Misty. The menu did have something foreveryone’s budget. I want to try the garlic noodles with the shrimp and sausage next time. There was a robot that brought thefood and then Misty was there to set us all up. I was not a fan of the robot. It was weird. They had great drinks. My son got ahoneydew melon tea with bubbles and I got a virgin pina coloda. His drink was great. My pina was missing the coconut flavoringbut the pineapple ???? drink was ok too. Read more
You really can't complain at all about this place. The staff was wicked nice, the food was really good. Drinks were very strong... and in cute mugs. They even have robots to help their staff with serving. Decor was pretty neat and themed with greatinformation about species of crabs. 10/10. Way too pricey for what I can afford, but we hope to come back again! (Butter did gocold quickly in the boil bags making it mush up, but peel and soak while you eat and you should be good.) Read more
If you haven’t been here and you’re from the area, I can promise you you’re missing out. This place had incredible... service, a robot, and great food. I am so happy to be able to have been blessed with the opportunity since I turned away fromTexas road house since the waiting line was too long. This spot was right across the highway and I was amazed with the decor!It’s not often you see a crab on a building. I had lobster bisque and I will come back till the end of my days in RI. First time ordering from this place. The food was absolutely amazing! The garlicky noodles were divine. The rice was good as... well, it was just a bit oily at the bottom of the container. I don’t know if this restaurant offers delivery, I ordered viaUber eats. Will be ordering from this place soon. Read more
I have to start with the food and work backwards. The food was so fresh, juicy and flavorful. I had the lunch miniboil combo #3,... King's combo: 1 Alaskan king crab leg, 1 Snow crab cluster, 1 Dungeness crab cluster. I hand the envie sauce cilantro, lime,lemon, garlic and butter not hot. I had a half pound of mussels on the side. My husband had the same combo but with shakingseoul sauce medium hot. He had a half pound shrimp and sausage on the side. I had a couple mussels that had grit, but the restwere grit free. The shrimp were huge. We also ordered the loaded noodles they had sausage chunks and large shrimp (slightlysmaller than the boil shrimp). We each only had one bite of the noodles and took the rest of them home along with some of thesausage and shrimp. The crab legs were so good. The envie sauce was so delicious the cilantro was fresh whole bunches. The boilis supposed to come with corn and potato, but you will not see them in my pictures because the cook forgot them. We did not tellour waitress because we had the extra seafood sides and were stuffed, but I am confident that had we notified them they wouldhave rectified the oversight without any delay. Please keep in mind that my dining experience was during the "soft opening" thegrand opening is on October 30 or 31. The decor is pleasant, not overdone and that was refreshing. The staff was very friendlyand accommodating. Though my waitress was new to the occupation, she has what it takes to be an excellent waitress. Anything shedid not know the answer to she did not make one up, she admitted she did not know and went to get the answer for us. The ShakingCrab will have a bar and sell alcohol, but at the time of my visit this was not operational yet. I believe the manager saidtheir shipment was not in and was due to arrive sometime the week of the grand opening. Read more
this place is amazing!!! i brought my whole family here and everyone had a wonderful time. i love seafood and this place did not... disappoint! we ordered the sailor combo with garlic butter, scallops dinner, coconut shrimp and a whole lobster!!! everythingwas cooked perfectly. also, our waitress Paula, was super nice.
