Great food and atmosphere with beautiful views of the water, ships and the train station. Def recommend any of the margaritas.... The seafood tacos were amazing. Nice atmosphere and good food overlooking the river. Small dining space with a separate bar, set up a bit strangely but it's an... old building so let's say cozy. Could use more help during lunch shift, one server, one very large party, you do the math. Needed to catch a ferry so slow service a bit concerning. I had fried clams and friend had fish tacos. Definitely a hidden gem in New London. Our server Julia was a sweetheart! I’m usually hesitant to order shrimp scampi at... restaurants because my dads homemade recipe has put everyone else’s to shame and usually shrimp scampi ends up being shrimpskimpy, HOWEVER, this was not the case this time. I will be back again for this delicious dish that was seasoned perfectly.Portions are super generous and prices are great. Read more
We stopped in for dinner last night after picking up our niece at the train station. The fried calamari appetizer was excellent.... For entrees we had stuffed haddock, stuffed shrimp and the ravioli. Each of us thought that it was one of the best meals we everhad. Our server, Yolanda, was fantastic, always there when we needed something without ever hovering. New England pub. Near Amtrak Bartender/waitress was attentive to everyone! They advertised the chowder soup outside and in the... both on the coast it’s usually amazing….. the clam chowder was nothing special, liquid little pieces of clams, sad to say.Parking in this area was terrible!!! Atmosphere was great, food was fantastic and our server Matt was awesome! Started out with the calamari and was tempted to order... another. Wife had the clam strip dinner which was delicious and my fish n' chips was even better! Then ended it all with a redvelvet cake. We will definitely be returning to sample the rest of their menu! Quaint little restaurant we found on our historic coastal drive. We were excited to try the oysters. Coming from the west... coast, they serve us east coast oysters, but there is absolutely nothing like having them fresh! Absolutely delicious and worththe stop, the lobster roll was perfect with the chefs special garlic butter sauce, just mouth watering and the crab cakes wereamazing too! Definitely worth a stop!
