This Five Guys is tucked away in the Walmart shopping Center on Route 7 in New Milford. The staff was very welcoming and there... was no line. I have always found the French fries to be generously served and totally delicious. I ordered the vegetablesandwich and it was so filling that I didn't miss the hamburger meat. Read more
The bunless bacon cheeseburger was perfect! They wrap it with lettuce instead of a bun and save you 240 calories! They have... peanuts here so if you have allergies, you'll want to go somewhere else. Read more
This chain does burgers fair justice with fresh beef and and a slew of fresh toppings along with killer fresh cut fries they... even state exactly which farm they are sourced from on a nice lil dry erase board. The burgers are consistently juicy and wellcooked and u can ask them to run the fries twice to crisp em up. Tip: ask for fries on ur burger, its not on the list butthey're awesome there. I feel like they have expanded a bit too quick and quality control suffers a bit for it. Better than mostfast food burger options but not near the top of the group. Read more
I called the New Milford, CT Five Guys around 9:10pm one night and asked what time they closed because the online ordering... wasn?t working and I was told that they closed at 10pm as the five guys website and google lists their closing time as so itmade sense. I was on my way to the restaurant and said to myself I might as well try to order ahead so I?m not waiting when Iget there and it?s getting towards the end of the night. So I called at about 9:25pm and said I wanted to place an order forpick up and that the online ordering wasn?t working and was told this time by the same person as before that the store closed at9pm. I explained that I had just called about 15 mins ago and was told 10pm, he said ?No I was the one that answered the phoneand said 9pm like everything says it does? in a really nasty tone. So I thought to myself well, ok maybe I misunderstood, noproblem but also why would you answer the phone after hours when you?re closed? So I asked why online and everything says 10pm,it it just tonight or a permanent thing and he says ?No it doesn?t but I?m not gonna argue with you? even nastier than before,then proceeds to hang up on me. Not for nothing but absolutely unacceptable to talk to a customer like that and hang up on themlike that when I?m simply trying to figure out where the miscommunication lies or even give the store info maybe they?re notaware of. I called back extremely unhappy a couple times with no answer and finally got an answer from someone who stated shewas the shift supervisor, I explained what had just unfolded which I?m sure she heard and got the standard and condescendingresponse of ?That isn?t acceptable and I?ll talk to him?.
