Easily the BEST pizza you can get in CT! You would have to go to NY to get something equally as good.

Been twice now and it's safe to say it's straight up the best pizza in western CT. Frankly, in punches in the same weight class... as a lot of the best pizza in NYC and New Haven too. Sandwiches are decent, but the pizza is unreal. Total hidden gem. Read more

Was at the store to get some lunch my wife and I. Ordered a half chicken BLT and she ordered a individual pizza. By mistake the... guy made a full sandwich. After eating my wife went inside and the guy offered if we didn?t want to take the other Half of thesandwich. She declined. After a few minutes she decided that she would take the sandwich so it wouldn?t go to waste. Halfsandwich is seven dollars and a full sandwich is nine dollars. When I went to pay they Charged me seven dollars and I wasThinking I would pay the difference of two dollars from a half to a full. Got very disappointed when the owner said that he hadto wrap the sandwich and that he was not charging for extra mayo. I guess we?re not going back. Read more

Very pleased with this place. You might wonder why New Mil needs another deli. We already have several that are quite good. ... This is a whole different animal. All the baked goods are made in house and delicious. This includes the excellent blueberrylemon cake that I had this evening. There is also an Italian cheesecake, wonderful raspberry crumb cake, and many other uniquechoices. Also of note is the breakfast sandwiches and breakfast in general. Plates come with nicely cooked potatoes that aremixed with bacon and other flavors. The sandwiches are on a rich brioche roll, a hearty portion, great with a cup ofcoffee. Another unique offering is the house smoked salmon, sold by the pound or as a small plate, done three ways. Some of thebest smoked salmon anywhere. There is a beet salad with candied pecans drizzled in orange oil, seared Ahi tuna salad, and manyother choices. Bottom line, if you are in New Mil, come here for breakfast or lunch. Went there for lunch at 1pm. 1 person waiting to order in front of me. What looked like 3 people waiting for thier orders. 1... cook, 2 Deli/prep guys & 1 Owner/Chef ( I assume) walking around. It took almost 10 minutes for the guy in front of me to get asmall order of macaroni salad to go from 1 of the deli kids. The cook just stood there waiting for orders to make (but no onewas taking them) and the Owner/Chef is explaining how he has to reconstitute some sauce for one of the original 3 orders. To topit off he whole time the owner talked to the 3 customers (I assume regulars). Even explaining how he roasted some beafsteaktomatoes and how great they were and how he threw one in for the guy and The whole time I hadn't even ordered yet. Then when thedeli kid did look at me he said that he would be with me in a minute. By this time it was amost 1:15. I dont care how good itmay be the service was horrible.
