This place was horrible! The waitress forgot us, we watched other people get seated, order food, and get their food before our... order was taken. I asked for the chicken parm with penne pasta and Alfredo sauce, the waitress acknowledged the Alfredo saucebut wrote down vodka sauce and brought me vodka sauce. When I told her I asked for Alfredo she tried to say I asked for vodkauntil my husband said I wanted Alfredo. She then takes everything back and tells me it's 10 minutes for the penny or I can swapit for rigatoni. Ok I'll swap. My chicken parm was burnt and dry, the Alfredo sauce tasted like slightly thick milk. Myhusband's lasagna was so bland, and the Meatballs that came with it were soggy, the consistency of a ball of baby food. The onlydecent thing was the salad bar, and even then it was basically lettuce, choice of random veggies and dressing. No cheese. Noegg, no usual things you expect to see in a salad bar. New owners...it shows but not in a good way. Very busy for weekday evening. Appeared to have 1 wait staff for entire restaurant.... Maybe another but we did not observe any. A "CC & Ginger" was ordered. A birthday celebration. The "drink" arrived with anapology of we ran out of Canadian Club so it's not a drink, just ginger ale but it's on us. Okay maybe someone could have cometo the table to ask if I would like a different brand of whiskey or a different cocktail. Nope just brought the soda and neverreturn to ask if we would like another drink or desert. Husband had a draft beer and was planning to order another. His vealParm was very good. My chicken parm was actually burned in areas of the breading where it was do hard I struggled with the knifeto cut off the burned parts. The meat inside was dry and stringy. It was a bad dinner with minimal service only to order andfinally bring the check. We travel about 35 miles to get to the Gables. We will give it another try later in the Fall but thenew owners are not prepared, you have to adjust days or hours if you don't have adequate help in these trying times and thebartender a little common sense..offer a substitute if you run out or ask if a different drink is of interest. Don't bring aroot beer to the table if a Coors Light was ordered. We'll see how they do. Read more

The atmosphere was upbeat, happy and the food was the best I have had since before I left Florida. The raspberry tea was... delicious too. So very thirst quenching on an unusually hot 90 degree day in May! Read more
