Very rude service the day we went to Cumin. We had heard great things about this restaurant and were so looking forward to... going. We ended up having attitude from our server when we kindly requested menus (since it was taking so long). She thenaccidentally spilled the water when bringing it, which wasn't a bit deal however she said some rude words about being rushedbecause we asked for the menus and then proceeded to slap/ throw the menus in front of each of us. We were honestly shocked.Some minutes later she came over to take our drink order and very passive aggressively with a huge fake smile asked what wewanted to drink. We didn't order anything other then the water as we already had a horrible feeling being served by thiswaitress. She did not return to us to take our order for quite some time so we got up to leave. She said bye to us with an eyerole. I do not feel so great about leaving this 1 star review, however I have never experienced service like this in all mylife... Totally shocked. Even the management did nothing to smooth this situation. I have heard the food is great and you cansee this from the other reviews. However there is no excuse for the male-treatment of customers stopping to eat at yourestablishment. Read more
Stopped for lunch because it mentioned gluten free bread. My husband is gluten and diary intolerant. There were so many choices... it was a wonderful change. The food was plentiful and delicious! Staff were very pleasant and service was quick. And the coffeecame in a real mug. Read more

Love the food and baked goods, but the coffee needs some serious work. We have tried most of the coffee related offerings a few... times each and for the prices they really, really need to up their game. I've bought the beans and they are all good, so I amsure just a barista course or two for the staff and this would be an easy 5 star review, as everything else is fantastic. Read more
This is my 4th or 5th time eating here! Always delicious, clean , great service! Love that you have so many vegan options and... hope to see even more . Today I had the fryed califlower with a carrot bean soup , totally delicious! My husband had the Hipsterparadise bowl and he loved it . We are planning another lunch date here very soon ! I've never had a bad bite at Cumin. In fact I think it's one of the best lunch spots in the province. Unfortunately the gnocchi... is always so incredibly delicious - and changing with the seasons - I've never been able to venture to another main course. Butmy dining companion has and they're all wonderful. Desserts too! The staff are great. Yet another reason for a South Shore galto hit the Annapolis Valley! Read more
