There's really only two simple words to describe Adolfos, AMAZING FOOD! You haven't experienced anything quite like it til... you've tried it. Do you love Italian food? Do you love Creole food? Whether or not you like one or the other - or both - you'llcertainly leave feeling beyond satisfied. Read more

My husband and I had dinner at Adolfos on Saturday evening. We were looking forward to spending time on Frenchman street... listening to jazz and wanted to eat dinner somewhere close to the action. We had heard that the food was good and the restauranthad a good atmosphere so we wanted to try it out. The food wasn?t that great and to top it off it gave us severe food poisoning???? We We?re both up all night deathly ill and didn?t know if we would be able travel back home on Sunday. It is Mondayafternoon and we still aren?t back to normal. Read more

Amazing food. Be ready to wait. Escargot was out of this world. It was my first time having escargot and I was told to not... expect it to taste that good anywhere else lol. Everything has amazing sauces that are very well seasoned. Read more

Great Italian food with inspiration from New Orleans. Cozy and creative setting with close-set tables. Quite a small menu, but... what's done is done well. Definitely recommended! Read more

We went on a Friday evening, were seated quickly and no one came in after us. Menu was smaller than the one posted online which... was ok. They only have one salad dressing, it was basically water and mustard. Service was poor. Our first drinks came quickly. My husband asked for another beer which never arrived, asked for a water halfway through dinner which she brought after wealready had the bill. The real issue was my seafood pasta. It had so many shells that I couldn?t even take a bite without ashell. I expect a shell or two or even 3 or 4, but this was every bite. The waitress appeared very overwhelmed, there were twofor this small restaurant which should be adequate. I mentioned the shells, ate the shrimp which were shell free and moved on.Paid our bill, tipped and left. Would not go here again and do no recommend. My husband ordered pasta with Italian sausage.Barely and sauce and sausage was dry. There are so many options in this area, skip it and try somewhere else. Place was cute. Read more

Absolutely delightful food and atmosphere. The service is also phenomenal! Katherine and Chelsea helped us, and are both so... nice, accommodating, and welcoming, despite being understaffed and stretched quite thin. We had the stuffed flounder with oceansauce and the cannelloni with spinach Italian sausage. Both sooooo good. Definitely come here if you?re in the area! Read more

Located in a cool, old brick building in the heart of Frenchmen Street, Adolfo's feels like authentic NOLA, like a meal from... mom. Chelsea gave fantastic service and recommendations. Whatever the special is the night you go, order that, especially ifit's the rack of lamb with the mint sauce. The entrance/name reservation process can seem a little informal, but just wait forthe host and don't give up. You'll be seated quickly and won't regret your experience. Read more
