Food was decent. The spice levels were there. Maybe we just got the wrong things. I got the drunken noodles with added shrimp... but got only like 4 shrimp, and I'm not used to whole cut vegetables in my noods. The lady got Budsi noodles with shrimp. Andthe spice level nearly knocked her out. However the pork dumplings were pretty dang tasty. We should of gotten the Pad Thai.Overall it was mediocre at best. Read more

Budsi is a random but perfect little restaurant tucked in the Marigny. Authentic Thai cuisine with an amazing explosion of... flavor. The spice level is real, but if you can handle it, GO FOR IT! We got their Dumplings, Steak Salad, Drunken Noodles,Budsi Noodles, & the Khao Soi. My personal favorite is the Khao Soi, I love the combination of coconut curry soaked noodles withthe crunchy fried egg noodles. It's such an amazing texture and flavor dynamic here. Definitely make your wayhere! @phidingthefam Read more

A heads up though, the portions are pretty large, so bring your appetite !! Idefinitely recommend the curry! Read more

Let?s start with the highs then go to the lows. The highs- the curry was one of the best I had. If you?re deciding on a noodle... option- the drunken noodles were fine little noodles packed with satisfying flavor. The lows- the service. Since you place orderat the counter, there must have been some confusion as to what we got but the food still came out relatively fast. It?s prettynoisy inside. And the pad thai was just decent. Thai food in New Orleans! Different flavor in their take of thai food. Fav was the flank salad, omg so refreshing and... delicious. Thai tea is poured in a pitcher, very interesting. It was very good but sweet. Dumpling is goooood, a good whitepepper flavor. The sauce were the main deal, very light soy sauce and was complimentary. Chicken wings were crispy, seasonedlike a chinese take out, sauce was very much fishsauce and blend of vinegar. The flank Salad was so on point bc it was sorefreshing and had mint and celery. It balanced the saltiness of the meal. Drunken noodle was differnt, didnt expect a ramen(migor eng) noodle. But good flavor. Pad See ew was goood, but the shrimp was quite mushy, not sure if thats how New Orleans dotheir shrimp.. Overall their entrees was on the salty side. Read more
