The food here is great. The service is friendly and fast. Our server was great! The oysters were good, but we got a few... gritty ones. The creole stuffed fish was great! The bread pudding serving is huge! We could only eat half before we werestuffed. By far, one of our favorite places we have eaten at so far while visiting. Read more

This place never disappoints me. No matter if your sitting inside or out, the ambience is beautiful and the food is great. The... staff are friendly and overall a great time. This is a place that knows how to handle big groups. Everything from the FriedAlligator, Gulf Shrimp Po-Boy, Chocolate Mousse Cake amazing i had to order an extra one to go! Read more

Food here is so delicious. Fantastic experience starting with the wonderful and fun hostesses at the door. I was by myself but... the two ladies accompanied me at my table and sat with me for a few minutes to help me through some recommended selections. Myvisit continued with the wonderful and beautiful India as my server. She was very helpful also with some amazing selections. Iwas there for a late lunch and chose the shrimp and grits. I took dinner to go for later which was the corn crab chowder, stuffed fish, and finished with the bread pudding...all amazing. Read more

The wait was an hour long. On some days it could be less. Meals are tasty and to be honest, it was worth the wait . I am... uncertain if one could place a reservation ahead of time. There’s an outdoor seating option (mostly for waiting to get seated. Best to not go there when you’re super hungry ! Just give some buffer time! Servers were really friendly! If you’re abit of a claustrophobe, you might find the seating arrangement a little too close to each other Overall good experience ! Read more

We had a great experience at this restaurant. It is very popular, so be patient and be prepared to wait. We had the alligator... appetizer, a fish dish, the sampler, and the bread pudding. Our server was attentive and helpful. The only thing I would say isthe sampler portions would be small for someone who was very hungry. However, it was a great portion for me and I liked beingable to try a few different items. Read more

Got there at 8pm on a regular Tuesday night. Not sure what was going on, but they were pretty busy and they said it would be... about a 30-45 minute wait. So we put ourselves down for a table of 2 and were told not to leave the area because all they do isyell your name out loud. If you're not there, sorry about your luck. We waited our 30-45 and then found out the kitchen hadgotten so behind, they were temporarily stopping seating. Well, we finally sat at 9:20. Almost an hour and a half wait so weordered drinks, an appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert all at once. Diet Coke($4) and Well Vodka Martini($8) were fine, butthen the oysters on the half shell appetizer came out($11). Went to pick one up, fingers covered in sand and grit...decided tojust try forking it. Almost choked on a piece of shell so that was over. Had to wait until the entrees came to tell the runnerabout them(he said he would let our server know). No one ever apologized or offered replacement ones or even a differentappetizer instead. The entrees(Taste of New Orleans"Pick 3" $20 & Canal Street Redfish $29) and dessert (Bread Pudding $9) weregreat though, so it made up a bit for the awful beginning. When the bill came though, the oysters were still on there!Definitely not impressed by the service here. Even though it was the end of their night(10pm close), I still deserve the samelevel of service as the people that came before me. Read more

Everything was absolutely amazing. We say at the bar, Big Red and Gator made our night! Bop! Best char grilled oysters in... town. Update: Originally gave a 5 star review, but I attempted to return today and ran into their very obnoxious manager. Lastnight we sat at the bar while they were on a wait without an issue. Today we tried to do the same and the manager with the shortdreads and red shirt stopped us immediately at the door and wouldn't let us go to the bar. She made us wait on the list to sitat the EMPTY bar. While we were waiting my brother went to ask to use the restroom and this same person stopped him and saidthat it is for customers only when we've been clearly waiting at the door to be seated. She finally let him in and on his wayout he noticed the bar was almost completely empty, so he went to ask if it was available at all. Before the bartender couldeven respond, this manager comes and intervenes and says that she already told us we would need to wait, without explaining why. This woman is extremely rude and does not need to be managing at all. We took our business around the corner to Acme. I givethe 3 stars because the food is fantastic, and the bartenders really make this place what it is. Mangers such as this reallybring down the value of a place. Read more

Food was okay, not really good. But service was just horrible. Not all servers are wearing a mask. Once they brought me a check... without asking if I want anything else. And twice the server brought me my order without a fork and knife. Plus I had to ask tobring me more water. Seriously?! I don’t understand: are they actually have any training before work or a common sense atleast?! And what happened with the cake (on the picture). And after all the “recommended” tips is 20%. I just don’tunderstand: for what Read more
