Parts of Justine were excellent and other parts were not so excellent. I'm feeling fairly mixed on my experience here. Sorry in... advanced for not provided pictures of everything we ordered. I'll start with the excellent. The host and waitress were bothvery pleasant and the atmosphere was quite enjoyable. All of the appetizers were bold and flavorful: the crawfish mac andcheese, the onion soup, the beets, and the brussel sprouts. I loved them all and would definitely recommend them. The onlyentree that stood out was the burger. Oh, and all of the wine and cocktails were good too! And for the not so excellent. I wasoverall dissatisfied with three of the four entrees. The chicken was definitely over-cooked and dry. The steak was quiteundercooked, rare, and quite frankly awful. And the fish was, I don't know, just not all that good. For a James Beard awardwinning restaurant, I was expecting significantly better food. As a mentioned, the service was excellent, the appetizers wereexcellent, and the entrees were meh. Read more

the food is not worth the cost at all, while very pretty, it was all incredibly salty. I was underdressed for the establishment... and told I could sit at either the bar or outside because their tables were all full. It was a Monday night, and there were two, maybe three tables sat the entire time I was there. The staff would give me weird looks and check on me almost every singlebite, I felt very rushed and not wanted. the only thing I enjoyed about this place was the aesthetics, I would have rather theytold me I didn’t meet a dress code than deal with the customer service I received Read more

Loved it, loved it, and loved it! Justine's has great atmosphere and style. The ambiance was perfect, the escargot and beef... tar tar were on point. As well as my wife's expresso martini! Don't miss this gem in the French Quarter! NOLA has a lot ofgifted restaurants! The search continues! Read more

We arrived at the restaurant right at 5p, just in time for our reservation to discover that the doors were still locked. They... did not open until 5:06p even when I called. That was disappointing and unprofessional. Despite the business casual attiredress code on OpenTable’s website, the hostess wore a white spaghetti strap, ripped jeans and black combat boots. I thoughtthe restaurant had a dress code? The food portions were small unlike the prices and I couldn’t switch out the collard greens(I don’t like collard greens) when I contemplated ordering the fish on the market. Heather was a knowledgeable and attentiveserver, however, we do not plan on returning. Read more

Highly recommend! Stylish aesthetic yet relaxing atmosphere. Service was excellent! Server was attentive and demonstrated in... depth knowledge of the menu & made great suggestions. We had the French onion soup (must try! Best I’ve ever had) along withthe steak frites and shrimp & grits (the chili butter was perfect!). Would definitely return next time I’m in NOLA. Read more

Was excited about my meal. Our waitress gave the best description. I had the Chicken Confetti and friends enjoyed the Steak. My... Chicken was overcooked, but the kale and sweet potatoes puree was delicious. I still definitely try again. Great experience. Read more

Perfect dinner from beginning to end. We were immediately met with excellent service as soon as we arrived for our reservation.... In fact, we arrived an hour early because we were already in the area, and they very kindly accommodated us. For starters, wehad the fried pork belly. Very good. Entrees were fish and chips and the steak frites. Both were very very good. For dessert, wefinished with the crème brûlée - also to die for. This truly felt like a 5 star dining experience. For the price and thelevel of service received, it was just unbeatable. Read more
