This Landry's is well staffed. Our server was fantastic, spending ample time with us explaining the specials - which we got and... were delicious. There's a lot of value on the menu and it's cajun-ish. The fish was perfectly prepared with a delicioussauce. The fresh hot bread is a real treat and should not be passed up. Read more

Landry's was absolutely delicious! We heard from locals that it was considered a chain and therefore not super authentic, but it... was the best seafood meal I've ever had! Can't wait to see how good "real" New Orleans seafood is. Read more
Nice big parking lot. Prime location on the water. I took the elevator, because the restaurant is up on floor 2. Came out on... floor 2 a few feet from the front desk. There were a few people talking there. I asked for a table for one. It'slunchtime...there was the side with the bar where everyone was seated, a few extra empty tables, and another side, completelyempty and I'm not sure the lights were on there. Anyway, the server took me to the empty side to seat me... table for one..outof sight of others.... I asked her if I could be seated on the other side, "you know..with people". I think she was newbecause she went back to the front desk to see if I could be seated with others. Anyway, I got a table on the edge of the diningroom. The server was nice, it was just weird if she was being trained they would tell her to do that. THE FOOD: My appetizer wasjalapeños stuffed with seafood. On a bed of crispy onion strings, was delicious. The seafood flavor was mild and creamy. Thejalapeno was fried and had good heat. My entree was Southern Fried Fish with fries and onion strings. First, I want to say my appetizer was delicious, as I ordered the crab, spinach, and artichoke dip. The chips were fresh &... crisp. This review is about poor customer service on 5/30 and the host/manager unwillingness to accommodate a guest. I parkedon the Lakefront and walked to Landry's for an appetizer. Out of nowhere it began storming, so I couldn't leave to get back tomy car. I asked if they could accommodate a party of ONE (1) since it started raining. The dark haired, female manager, said itwould be a 35-40 minute wait. I asked if I could sit at the bar. She said, well there are no chairs at the bar. I asked if Icould stand at the bar, and she said, well it's not really open and there are no chairs. (Sidenote: I was there the day beforeon 5/29, and the bar had chairs and 3-4 high tables on the side near the bar. The bartender told us those tables were for thoseordering from the bar and that we could sit there to eat. Neither host shared that info, one being the dark haired femalemanager. My friend then requested a table, received the text that our table was ready. A host sees my friend on the patio, andquestioned her asking if she had a reservation. My friend was embarrassed, as she felt she was being questioned about why shewas there. Though I wasn't there when that part happened, it really bothered my friend to be singled out like that, and peoplelooking. The host should have checked their log to see that a party of two was seated.) I asked if I could sit on the patio ifI find a dry table. She said, well it's raining, and there probably isn't anything, but she never went to check for herself. Iliterally saw empty booths and tables available. After realizing, she had no interest in my request for a party of one, I wentback to the bar and waited for my food. Great restaurant with very fine cuisine perfectly prepared. Awesome hosts and servers. Great location. Inside or patio dining... sets the perfect mood for any occasion. Honey! I have been many places and had what I THOUGHT was the best of the best, but the LOBSTER TAIL and the crab cake at this... place, changed my mind! I was mad I didn’t order more! Have you ever had food so good, you were looking for ways to have itdelivered? Listen, I live in NC so we are not too far from the ocean and have seafood options available. Honey, this restaurantput us to shame!!! The peach Palmer is a must! Imagine having great food and having an incredible view of the lake at the sametime! Lawd have mercy! Great food and great prices!
