Our experience was not great at all. The food was stale, not fresh and cold. The jambalaya was a mix of mashed rice and beans.... The red beans and rice had a small piece of chicken sausage. I didn’t expect too much from the salad but expected to havefresh lettuce. The first time I ate here was in 2018 and the experience was night and day. I was excited to come back but it wasa huge disappointment. I recommend going elsewhere. Read more
Loved their food and drinks. We stood in line for about 30mins to get into this place on a Saturday evening and it was... definitely worth it. The sauce on the crab cake was our favorite. The oysters were outstanding and show why NOLA is known forit. The Po boy was a bit dry but the chicken was super flavorful and juicy. We really enjoyed the drinks as well. Read more
My son and I had to try this place while visiting. My son had the duck and he loved it. The skin was crispy and meat tender and... juicy. The gumbo was so good and the gator bites were tender and season well. I loved this place. I enjoyed the taste of NewOrleans dish and yes the crab cakes are to rave about. Very good food, and the service was pretty good too. I highly recommend the Blackened Gator. The crab cakes and their "taste of... New Orleans" were also really good menu items. Flavor: A Service: B Tea: A Solo dining: D The long line on the sidewalk can be deceiving. I still don't know how it moved so... quickly. We started with gator bites and crab cakes. Both were great. Typically a very busy French Quarter restaurant with great Cajun cuisine at fair prices(relative to the area). The first time we... tried it the line was well into the street so we waited till the next afternoon and found the line much shorter, we were seatedimmediately. The service was great although a little slow at first. Food came out quickly and was fabulous, the BBQ shrimp wasrich and very flavorful and I recommend it. Atmosphere is good and there are lots of TVs for any sporting events happening. Iwould recommend it if you would like to eat in the French Quarter. Read more
When I first saw this place, I really thought that it is overrated but I was completely wrong. This place definitely deserves a... 5-star review. It looks small from the outside but it is spacious. Service is very fast, staffs are friendly andhelpful. Their food is absolutely tasty! We ordered Blackened Catfish plate and Oceana Chargrilled Oysters. There are lots ofoptions that you can choose from, and all of them look amazing. I highly recommended this place for seafood. They also openvery late so you can stop by for some late night food. This was our first time. The staff and Manger was friendly. The food was good. The drinks were amazing. We came back every day... during out trip for drinks. One of the best spots off of Bourbon Street. The gumbo needs work. Read more
