At first, I thought I was loosing weight, because it appeared that the young woman behind the counter couldn't see me, However... she did speak to the woman after me & take her order. I guess she didn't want to serve a white man "the woman behind me wasblack". Same story the next day, however this time there was another associate in the store with her & she took my order. Extremely poor service for a $3.00 cup of regular coffee. From then on I avoided PJ's at the UMC Location. Read more

It's been great service and food, open til 1am with an hr break between 11- midnight but If you're inside UMC you have a food... option til 1am, salads and sandwiches, sweets, muffins, coffee, tea. There's a reward card offered at this Aramark PJs thislocation only so you can save up to a free coffee but they're very nice, Ask for a sample, They have seasonal coffees, fraps andZulu Coconut or King Cake coffee for Mardi Gras with different ones around Fall and Christmas, traditional PJs flavors anddifferent flavors changing daily Read more

Just stood at the counter to get a coffee and the barista was sitting down and on her phone. I told her hello she responded but... I did not stand up. I waited a minute then left. For whatever reason she was not going to serve me. Unprofessional and lazyemployee , the coffee just wasn't worth that disrespectful (non) service. Read more

HOPEFULLY PJ?s MANAGEMENT OR OWNER WILL READ THIS!!!!! Horrible, awful, absolutely the worst customer service EVER! I?ve never... had a rude barista until today. Today changed that, and I?ve had my first and last cup of coffee from PJs in Charity Hospital. After driving from Lafayette I stopped to get coffe before going to my friend?s hospital room. Other than taking my order thegirl made no effort to pretend that another human was in her presence. I?m not expecting to be treated like royalty, but I doexpect to be acknowledged. After all without customers her job wouldn?t exist. Hopefully she will be replaced and people canenjoy a good cup of coffee without interrupting her day. I ALWAYS tip for coffee; she didn?t even give me a chance to decide. Ihad to ask for my receipt even though I was paying with a debit card. I honestly would recommend trying the cafeteria forcoffee before sharing another dollar with PJs in Charity. Read more

This is hands-down the rudest staff that I've ever seen at any coffee house I've ever gone to. They will let you stay in there... while they play on their phones like you're bothering them askin them to make you a coffee. Since I've been in this Hospital meand my family have spent hundreds of dollars. And I'm seriously thinking about taking my business elsewhere and while I'm in thehospital just giving up coffee all together. And if you need them to give you change for anything good luck because the onlything they're going to give you is an eye roll. So as I went back to find out the nice young ladies name(yeah right) she refusedto give it to me. She asked me why I wanted it. I explained to her that it was because of her horrible attitude. She said I'mnot allowed to give patients change. I said I don't have a problem with that that's not the issue at hand. The issue at hand isthe way you're treating your customers. So the fact that she wouldn't even let me know her name speaks volumes because she knowsthat she's in the wrong. But I'm sure it doesn't bother her one bit as she went along playing her on her phone. But I'll be sureto find out by what shift she was working. I've been in the service industry for over 20 years and I've never written a badreview on anyone and I can't even remember complaining about a waitress or barista. But after being here for over a month andseeing it over and over again day after day I just had to say something. I think they need to get rid of PJ's and bring in cc'sor some other company or just completely restaff the store. If you hate your job that much and you hate people that much thenmaybe you just need to get in a different line of work. I like PJ's Coffee but not enough to deal with the attitudes and I Rosefrom the staff. If I'm bothering them that much and my family is bothering them that much then I'll make sure that that doesn'thappen again Read more

This cafe is in the hospital but three seating and atmosphere is like a spa would have in some areas. There's a gazing pool with... fish. I will be back again. Great AC also. Read more
