Discovered Revel just reopened (5 days ago) and stopped for pre-dinner cocktails. Absolutely love this neighborhood bar. Kitchen... isn’t opened yet but the treat is watching artists enjoy their craft of making cocktails while telling great stories. Chrisand Laura make it a special time. Amazing drinks. Most cocktails range from $9-$12. They are all hand made with love and care and you can tell when you taste... them. Don't expect fast service, this place is meant to be enjoyed at a nice relaxed pace. Oh their bar food is delicious aswell. Read more
First of all this is not only about food and cocktails (and they make the best cocktails). The owners are incredible and lovely... people that shared a lot of history about New Orleans and the US with me ( I am living in Switzerland and the history lessons @Revel were better than anthing you can witness at a museum or in school ). I am positive i have never learned so much whilesipping on a longdrink (thanks Laura & Chris). I met incredible people and loved it, loved it, loved it. I will be back.
