What a great and unique experience! We loved our waiter Yasin who was very attentive and on top of our bottomless Bellinis... (which were SOOO good!!). Very very nice restaurant, since this is my first time in NOLA (I'm from the Chicagoland area) bare with me as I work through... my excitement to write this review. The atmosphere was laid back, relaxed and stunning. Soft, warm lighting, perfect for datenight, girls night out or if you just want to go out and try something different. I ordered the brussel sprouts and a cucumberlemonade, it was perfect! The brussel sprouts were enough for 2-3 people so I made that my meal, then ordered dessert. Thebignets were fluffy and melt in your mouth good! The peach cobbler bread pudding was the perfect balance of sweet and tart, I'dsuggest anyone to try both. I want to say our Waiters name was Danny, but i can't remember fully, he was informative, funny andhonest! I loved the experience, if you're in NOLA check them out, no disappointments.....oh wait, the mixed drinks or alcohol,the bartender is a wizard! No watered down drinks at this spot at all! Read more

We loved SoBou. You will definitely need a reservation!! The place is always packed. The decor was so modern and trendy. The... food is unique and interesting. We ordered the savory beignets (crawfish). They were amazing! We noticed that every single tablehad ordered them as well. We also ordered the tuna cones, they came covered with an avocado cream ice cream, delicious! We alsogot the shrimp corndog and the cochon au lait. Everything was exceptional. We enjoyed our drinks too. Our waitress was lovelyand friendly. It was a great experience. We will definitely be returning! Read more
If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! Absolutely loved my experience both times!! A local suggested this place so I... decided to go because local suggestions are always the best anyway! I went on a Friday night for dessert and had the whitechocolate and cherry jubilee bread pudding with a shot of the hooch of the day... it was Amazing! If you're a fan of breadpudding you definitely need to try this! My wife loved it even though she rarely likes sweets. While there that Friday I noticedon the menu they offered a burlesque brunch on Sunday's so I returned Sunday (today) for the brunch & I was totally NOTDISAPPOINTED!! The burlesque dancer was doing her thang when we arrived around 12! They offer a two course brunch and abottomless hooch or Bellini option. I took advantage of both and did the bottomless Bellini, crab claws (for the crab lovers!!Don't pass them up!!) and the Bananas Foster. I had seen photos of the sweet potato beignets on Yelp so I asked the waiter aboutthem and the Chef came out and offered to make some up for us since they weren't on the menu and I must say they weredeliciously savory and sweet!! They ended up having duck in them and we didn't know so the chef apologized (even though it wasmy fault I requested them not knowing they had meat in them) and offered a free glass hooch! I really appreciate when the chefcomes out to talk with you! He thanked us for returning to the restaurant also. Top tier service! Beautiful venue!
