I really wanted to like this place, but the food didn?t hit the spot. Please check my other reviews. I mostly give 5... stars. Pros: Staff Service Beautiful Outdoor patio/ambiance Brussel Sprouts Cons: Food flavor I was so excited to try thelavender lemonade but it was so sour. (FYI I drink ice coffees with just milk no sugar) With such a sour flavor like lemon, itdefinitely requires something more sweet to balance it. Brussel sprouts with chipotle mayo were on point although a bit saltybut still delicious. My husband ordered the chorizo queso and it was OK. We?ve had it at another location before where it wasmade properly and delicious. He commented that it tasted like bean paste with some Cheese and chorizo thrown in and I actuallyhad to agree. It even had the same texture. He ordered the chorizo tacos and enjoyed them although they were extremely messy tohandle/eat. I ordered the mahi tacos and substituted chicken since I?m pregnant. The menu stated that the Mahi had a jerkseasoning to it. My chicken tasted like a soy and sesame flavor not jerk at all! I noticed this because the whole taco was sooobland. The pineapple salsa and topping were just lacking a lot of flavor. These were also very wet and dripping out the sidesall over the place. I just expected more from two $18 tacos. Very cool off the beaten path, which I mean New Paltz is full of that! Great selections for anyone. Lots of vegan choices. I... did the vegan chorizo and mushroom pate. Pate was good but lacked a little fatty mouth feel. Chorizo tacos were very good andwould order them again. Ambiance was great, sat outside with good music and a laid back atmosphere. My roommate and her friend were looking for a new place to eat around town so we decided to stop by huckleberry and we weren?t... disappointed. Very welcoming out door seating the staff was very nice. The drinks abs food came out quickly the fr ovenmargarita was excellent. For apps we tried the wings which were delicious (have a napkin on stand by) the burger was very verygood , juicy and seasoned great I enjoyed the whole thing and you will to good for kids also Read more

My husband and I love supporting local and love even more a full menu of options that are farm to fresh. Huckleberry did not... disappoint. The weather was perfect to sit outside in a very cozy and comfortable back patio like setting. However the insidewas very cool looking if that's your choice. The food and drink options most definitely met out pallet expectations. Staff wasfriendly our hearts and stomach were full. Read more

We stopped here for lunch on Easter Sunday. A cool spot with a great vibe and really nice outdoor area. We had the burger which... was delicious and the fries that came with it , so good! Friendly and fast service, the bartender made me a margarita (not inmenu) which was top notch. Loved everything about this place. Read more
Absolutely great. You can't go wrong with anything you get here. The location can seem a bit small but does hold a good out of... people even during peak times, so the wait wasn't too bad, especially since they have some outdoor spots to hang out. Incrediblyfriendly staff, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Drink menu is all delicious, and no matter what you get for food you'll behappy. Perfect for small groups, I wouldn't recommend more than 6 people on short notice, but definitely worth checking out!Donuts are to die for. Read more
