My husband and I visit New Paltz once a year and decided to try Runa Bistro for dinner. It's a quaint, charming little... restaurant with a nice menu and some unique choices. We both enjoyed dinner and dessert very much! Had a great server too!! Read more

Our #1 favorite place to eat in New Paltz! Everything was top-notch: the ambiance, the service and especially the food. We like... that it’s only a block from the main strip but removed and feels more remote. The outdoor seating has heat lamps and a firepit, plus bocce ball and a bench swing, plus a whimsical row of trees to walk through at the entrance. The service wasexceptional, just the right amount of friendly and helpful. And the food!!! We wanted to order everything on the menu, and whatwe picked- the baby octopus and burrata with beets, then the eggplant and the duck- we are still talking about days later. Mymouth waters simply from remembering this meal. Read more

Food was so good and unique, we are staying at the air bnb house on the premesis and it is fabulous and so clean and so much... character. They included dessert on the house at dinner. Totally recommend definitely unique and delicious will be back. Used tobe an adorable tea room but this is a fabulous new addition! Read more

I've been before, the owner Claire is wonderful. Had an impromptu solo lunch with a craft beer and a Kathi roll. Superb! As good... as you can get for South Asian flavors in this part of the Hudson valley. Read more

We were struggling to find a nice kid-friendly place for dinner in New Paltz and then came across this lovely restaurant. We ate... outside where they have a patio and then picnic-style tables/benches on the grass. It was quiet on Saturday evening, so perfectfor us. The food was delicious, we especially enjoyed salmon. The food here is excellent, the environment is very inviting (even with kids), and the servers have always been super friendly.... I could live off the French onion soup (!!!), and the desserts are absolutely incredible. Everyone I have brought here has beenblown away. PS: I don’t tend to write reviews so my taking the time to do this shows how good it is! Read more
