I'm not familiar with cafe's myself, but as this one was very local and well reviewed I visited with a friend and was very happy... with the experience! The lighting inside is dim, but with a warmth that (at least in me) invokes nostalgia. There's a pleasantsmell from all the different drinks they sell, from tea, coffee, and a variety of other beverages. So far I've had threedifferent drinks, a salad, a chicken wrap, and scones that they sell in front of the counter. If you want a homey place to relaxand talk to loved ones, or just want to get out of the house and work on something, I'd stop here and give it a try. I know I'llbe coming back! Read more
Second time ordering their Farmhouse Salad. It was surprisingly good the first time so it gets a review for meeting expectations... the second time. Doesn't get 5 stars only because I have a couple other salads that hold that spot. Both times ordering theFarmhouse Salad the presentation was fine, the greens, tomato, carrots and onion were all fresh, the chicken was cubed nicelyand tasted good, some grated cheese on top with a parmesan-peppercorn dressing on the side finished it out.
