I'm not familiar with cafe's myself, but as this one was very local and well reviewed I visited with a friend and was very happy... with the experience! The lighting inside is dim, but with a warmth that (at least in me) invokes nostalgia. There's a pleasantsmell from all the different drinks they sell, from tea, coffee, and a variety of other beverages. So far I've had threedifferent drinks, a salad, a chicken wrap, and scones that they sell in front of the counter. If you want a homey place to relaxand talk to loved ones, or just want to get out of the house and work on something, I'd stop here and give it a try. I know I'llbe coming back! Read more
Second time ordering their Farmhouse Salad. It was surprisingly good the first time so it gets a review for meeting expectations... the second time. Doesn't get 5 stars only because I have a couple other salads that hold that spot. Both times ordering theFarmhouse Salad the presentation was fine, the greens, tomato, carrots and onion were all fresh, the chicken was cubed nicelyand tasted good, some grated cheese on top with a parmesan-peppercorn dressing on the side finished it out. The dressingcomplimented all the ingredients we'll without overpowering the balance of flavor. The portion was big enough to share and withtwo iced coffee beverages under $20 gets a 4-star. Read more

I visited this place two days in a row. This is a store front location. In downtown New Philadelphia Ohio. They offer a nice... selection of coffee, tea, and soft beverages. It is a casual place with a friendly staff. They have menu's at the counter. Youorder at the counter and pay when you order. They bring the food to your table when it is ready. The first day I had a roastedred pepper sandwich. The second day I had Greek Humus on pita. I finished off the meal with a very good espresso. Read more

I was passing through New Philadelphia en route to Pittsburgh and decided to stop in at Daily Grind Cafe. I am so glad I did! I... had a delicious breakfast bagel sandwich. The name eludes me right now, but it was a blueberry bagel with jalapenos, egg,cheese, and I believe bacon! Scrumptious! I also had a delicious drink. The service and atmosphere were top notch! Can't go higher than four stars due to moral obligation of honesty, just walked in, joked with the Ohioan behind the counter,... got my coffee with espresso and beat it. Nice spot, good coffee, good selection, hilarious, friendly folks. Easy recommendation. Read more
