I Normally Love Cracker Barrel, been to Cracker Barrel all over the Country. This Particular Cracker Barrel Recently has not... been that good for me, so I was undecided about giving a great review because of Mostly Terrible service and sloppy food at thislocation, I was there a few months ago and my server at that time, who is mostly the Hostess or she is a hostess trainer but myserver that particular day had a stuffy Nose And Throat, I could tell that she was sick, I asked her if she was sick and shesaid she only had-allergies and was not sick , guess what? she got me so sick! Shame on her for going to work sick..This was afew Months ago. And she was Loud! I understand that she is a Hostess trainer as well because she bragged about it so much butgive me a break! Lol. I think this restaurant needs new Management! So most of the time I go to St Petersburg, or Oldsmar, OrSpringhill. I decided to give this Cracker Barrel another chance again and today my Server Carissa did a Amazing job! She reallycares about her guest, she is not Snotty, Or Mean like most of the Servers that work there, she is just a really good person andI appreciate her a lot. First time customer. Placed a curb side at the host station with Mindi. Super kind and friendly! And she read my order back to... me and made great recommendations! They have great week day lunch specials for $7.99, and serve breakfast all day! Yum. Thankyou. Update 2: Pro tip: check the menu price vs the receipt price. We had a party of four around 3:00 p.m. on a Friday. Place was quite empty. Service was ok but wait time on food was about a... half hour. I had the roast beef which was very dry. Flavor was there, just too dry. String Beans have a smoky flavor. Iliked them. Fries were really tasty. Cornbread that came with the meal was anything but cornbread. Server was pretty nice, but the manager for the kitchen definitely needs some work. Gray eggs. You can explain to me all you... want that they're pasteurized but it's not normal for them to be gray. Don't argue with me about how the dates are checked andit's fine, it's shouldn't be discolored. Especially when another person at the table has egss that are perfect and you bring mea replacement that looks better. Otherwise everyone else was fairly nice and there's always stuff to look at. Best Cracker Barrel location I?ve ever been to. I ordered the sampler and it was so much food I had to take the rest to go! I... highly recommend this NPR location. Great food and Rita was very sweet and accommodating. The only problem I seen was when tables were clean off they were spraying... the chemicals on the table instead of on the rag. I seen a fine mist of chemicals blowing onto other tables with people settingat them with food. Not a good practice. I told the floor manager they would need to correct that detail. This was my first time at Cracker Barrel and I went a second time only one week later because I liked it so much. It was the... best Peach Iced Tea and Pancakes I ever had. But everything else was very delicious too. You have to try the hash browncasserole. And then the store you have to go through before you get into the restaurant itself is loaded with candy and otherdelicious specialities nicely separated next to country style cloth.....
