Within the first 15 minutes of being in the restaurant, I figured this would end up with me writing a very rare one star review.... I had not been to this part of town in many years. I walked into Dulcet on a whim. The interior is modern and classy. I wassurprised and had a look at the menu and spoke to the host. We decided we would easy out back and were told we could choose anyopen table outside. We sat ourselves and were chatting for 10-15 minutes. The waitress came over and asked for our drink order.I asked what kinds of beer they had. She said she would find out. She came back and asked for our drink order again, seeminglynot recalling the previous comm about what kinds of beer they had. It was very odd, but I had excellent company and was injovial spirits. I asked if they had any draft beer. She said she did not know. I asked if they had many beers or if there werejust a couple, thinking I could narrow my options. She said they had only a few. I told her she could just bring us two lightbeers in bottles, trying to keep it simple. When she had not returned with beer after 20 minutes, we decided to leave. We wentinside and I had a really good view of the bar. I saw many draft beers, so we went and sat at the bar and asked if they servedfood at the bar. The bartender said that they had a full menu at the bar, so we ordered a couple beers and decided on a coupledifferent appetizers. The bartender was attentive and very pleasant. Both apps were delicious. We had some beef tips and thecalamari. We ended up having a great evening at Dulcet and we would both eat there again. I am not sure what the story was withthe first table, but after speaking to the bartender, host and floor manager, I can definitely say that it was an anomaly andnot indicative of the standard level of service art this establishment. I recently celebrated my son’s 25th birthday at Dulcet with a large group of friends and family. We chose from their menu of... appetizers and we were even able to add other favorites to personalize the experience. Prices were very reasonable and theservice was top-notch. The owner greeted us personally and made our evening special above and beyond our expectations. Place hasan exclusive and fun vibe. The table was beautifully decorated with balloons and ribbons of his favorite colors. We choseSaturday (salsa night) because we wanted to do something different. We were told by several people this was the bestparty...music was incredible. We danced all night. Nothing like this place in Pinellas! Read more
This place is horrible!! I made reservations for 26 for a going away party. We were supposed to be seated at 7. By 745, we... still didn't have menus or a waitperson. We ended up having to leave and find another restaurant. They need to close theirdoors. Read more
