Wonderful service and great food. For dinner service, I was seated quickly and served a Spotted Cow fast. My chicken littles was... also served fast and hot. Portions are also a satisfying size. The service was very friendly for our tables orders of a entreeand drink to just dessert and a drink. I even ordered a to-go meal which was delivered as checks were being given. Had an absolutely delicious lunch at Mallards today! Hanson was an awesome server. My husband and I split the crab cake... appetizer, he had lobster bisque and turkey sandwich, and I had house salad with blue cheese dressing(tasted home made!)andchicken salad sandwich. Came in for our 25th Anniversary dinner. Food was great and the service was, too. Hubby had the Ribeye (done perfectly!) with... Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Lobster Bisque. I had the Mediterranean Shrimp Pasta with a Caesar Salad. A tall Spotted Cow on tapfor him, while I am a Malbec fan. We would each order these items again. Finished it off with a shared piece of Key Lime Pie.(Make sure they out enough whip cream on it! We had to ask for more). We will definitely return in the near future and will trysome other menu items that piqued our interest as well. Read more
I just wanted to say thank you for an amazing dinner! We ordered for pick up and Amber was very nice on the phone and in person... when I went to pick up our food. This could have easily been a 5 star review. All you had to do was bring out somewhat decent pieces of fish. My wife's... Jambalaya was good. The ambience was great. Our server was wonderful. The catch of the day was a complete ripoff. I get it,some people aren't good fishermen. I have had bigger fillets from Bluegill, not someone trying to pass this off as walleye. Walleye this small aren't legal to keep. WIDNR check these folks out. I have never felt so ripped off in my life. I had towait three days to post to try to calm down. Hand's down the worst meal portion. It came out and my wife remarked that itlooked like a kids meal. Do yourself a favor, drive the extra mile to Culver's and get more fish for a cheaper price. My sisters and I stopped in on our way home from a trip. We never heard of this place, but there wasn't a lot of open parking... spots, which is always a good sign. The staff was exceptional, and the food was even better. One sister had the harvest saladand she kept saying over and over, that it was the best salad she's ever had. The food was so good that one of my sisters wantsto road trip tomorrow and go there for lunch. We're 45 minutes away and will have to drive by some very good places to eat, butI don't think that's going to matter. You just can't go wrong, they are amazing. Read more
